I was going to flip the channel right after this came on , but the next sevral songs on this channel were actually Christmas songs. Sung by some choir. They had video clips as well and it was very old school as this was obviously way before music videos . Sooo I got to see nice winter snow scenes and other Christmas type fare. They sang Angels we have heard on Highh , Joy to the World and a few others. It was a nice treat !
Well it snowed like the dickens here last night , and the powers that be decided it was too cool for school. So alas, another long weekend. I hope everybody stays safe and warm. Hubby is home with me today so that will be nice( I think). I ll be here messing around the house, trying to straighten things up and all of that . I ll check in from time to time. Until then enjoy your morning ! Can we make 2300 today ?
I hope your legs and back get some rest. I hate when my back goes out.

I think in JANUARY everything seems slow motion. Maybe its designed that way so we can catch our breath before the year takes off and fly's by !

Speaking of speed, we have raced around once again to Weekend Eve and to a new count figure:
Days to the Season: 296
Days to Christmas Day: 338
As of tomorrow, we will be down to a mere 3 weeks until the 1/4 mark to Christmas Season 2011, Milestone #2.
We have started off this morning calm and sunny with the thermometer outside my back door reading just a hair under 40 degrees.
Much colder weather is expected over the weekend and we could drop into the teens for overnight lows. BRRRR!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!
My son had a basketball game last night in Savannah. We almost won! They fought well, but a couple of our starters were out sick. After the game went went to the mall to exchange a couple things, then ate dinner at Panera Bread. I love that place!
This is my busy weekend, running the store for my father-in-law, so I'll only be able to post sporatically.

Ok, I must admit, I think I am going to be a bit busy this weekend myself so I doubt I will get to post as often either. cheesy
Sounds like my last 12+ hours. When going through DD's notebook on Wed., she said she had a book to read in it, but it wasn't there. She said it was in her desk & she'd bring in home on Thurs. Last night, no book & another book missing too. She said it's still at school & I'm fussing at her to bring it home today. This morning, I remind her about the books & she tells me they are in another section of her notebook. I told her I checked all the pockets, but I did it again & found both books. :-? The child is driving me crazy! I'm all about organization & good grades. I know she's only in kindergarten & is intelligent, but she is disorganized like DH. Just drop it & somebody else will pick it up later or find it for you when you need it again...
DH & I are & DD loves it too, but her bedtime is 8 p.m. DH & I cried like babies last night at the end over the lady with the child with hearing loss, etc. "Temporary Home" just got to me--I'd rather chew off my arm that have anyone see me cry, but I couldn't help it! DD & DH will cry at the drop of a hat, & drop the hat themselves. DH always cheers for the underdog because he says he was a nerd in school that no one believed in either.
I've not worked a full week since the week of Christmas between holidays & snow. I'm ready to get back on a regular schedule!
Snowed again last night with more in the forecast Monday/Tuesday. Looks like we will keep getting exercise parking at the bottom and walking up the mountain. We saw another Coyote which makes the wife nervous about walking up at night. I'm trying to tell her to look at it as an adventure but she's doesn't agree, neither does my son.cheesy
Hi all, gosh another day! Its not snowing here again, but the advantage is that slowly but surely the sun is rising earlier and setting later. The difference each day is only by minutes, but in the big picture its making a difference! I am looking forword to summer comming, as it means the second half of the year is upon us, but also because christmas in July is here, and we can have a christmas meal! The countdown for that date is into the 100's now!!
