I agree. I always wear 2 pair of socks when I go out to shovel snow.

what up what up....my cold is almost gone....still coughing a lot....but the headaches and feeling tired is goooooooooooooooone....so I am glad about it.....and that almost without any medication.
been applying for jobs again yesterday and today...but so far I did not succeed.

watching ncis now and have a relaxed day tomorrow with kandice is also home from pre-school, cos she was sick as well

Afternoon All, was trying to post earlier but I am subbing today As the school nurse!! Wow I have been busy all day , lots of stomach aches and loose teeth . I kinda got suckered into doing this, by someone in the school district. Nursing is a profession I am trying to get out of, and I sure hope that is understood by the powers that be in the event that a teaching postion opens up here. Well from what I am seeing on the weather reports, it seems as if many of us are going to get a repeat of the storms of last week. The south, I hear more Ice is coming your way.

For some reason today feels like a friday . Anyone else agree?

Good afternoon everyone. I stopped by the Hallmark store on my lunch break today and SCORED big time. Got 2 new ornaments for each of my kids and one for each of the nieces and the nephew who will make his debut this spring. All were 75% off, got 10 ornaments for $21. So now the nieces and nephew are 1/2 way done for Christmas. Saw a few others that would be perfect gifts but those will have to wait until next week when I get paid.

They are calling for more snow tonight.. the amount they are calling for keeps changing though. Let It Snow ... Let It Snow ... Let It Snow!!!

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!! We just got out.....this is post 1 of 10.....

Wifey is here with me....snow day for her, too.....YIPEE! Started about 1145....and we are about 4 inches so far....YIPEE!! Wife is threatening to turn tv off of NFL channel....

Houston....we may have a problem.....

Well, we have a "sun" day here in northern California! It's not cold, but it is cool, almost like a spring day. Why, oh why, can't we get snow? I guess we are just meteorogically challenged. My lunch from last night's leftovers was excellent. Good thing there are leftovers since we have a meeting at the Elks Lodge tonight. Only 47 posts until we hit 2,200 today. I am sure we will do it plus more!! Talk to y'all later this afternoon.

Speaking of football, our town is getting very busy preparing for the Super Bowl. Lot of action going on around here. Even though my Boys are not in it, I am looking forward to watching it.

Did you see where the NFL is going to charge $200 dollars to stand outside the stadium and watch it on a big screen tv??? That is crazy!!!!!

Yes! My son-in-law and I were just talking about that today. The parking is outrageous, even off site parking is high.

One of the churchs nearby will not have a service that day but will charge people to park there. Not a bad idea to raise money for the church!

The shopping center nearby had a smart idea and said people can park free if they purchase 75 dollars worth of merchandise at any of the stores and they get a pass to park. I like that idea since you will at least get something for paying a price. It's the cheapest parking available.
