Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Another hectic morning here, whew! Jacob forgot about a project that was due this morning, Elizabeth got up late, working on Jacob's project made Elizabeth late for school, then Jacob was late, then Elizabeth forgot her jacket, then her teacher got on to me for bringing her late. Ugh.

And all this before my morning coffee! Binger, help me!

And I have to leave work early today to get to an early basketball game for Jacob in Savannah.

One more cup of coffee...please!

I've done it both ways. In fact, last night I used bone-in breasts and boneless thighs. It was excellent!

Are the breasts and thighs boneless?

That's so funny. It happens to me all the time. My cat likes to curl up and sleep on them while I am trying to work.

When my wife grades papers they all surround her while she plugs away at them on her lap desk, she gets so mad sometimes because the cats jump on them or the kids knock them to the floor.

No one here is a glory-hog. We love it when ANYONE gets milestone posts! In fact, I reached my 6,000th post and didn't realize it either.

...I just caught up on all the posts made since this morning, over 100 since I was last here 11 hours ago. I guess I made #2100 while I was quoting others posts, I am sorry I don't mean to take the milestone posts I have done three in the last few days....

Every time I start studying I panick and I start doing something else (but that doesn't help, the panick is just bigger next time I start). I need to get myself together and get going. Going now

Good morning, Christmas family.

Have been sitting here 2 hours with no work again !! I just don't understand it. I know it is not personal, but it feels like it is. Something must have gone awry that the company is not sharing. New job starts Feb 3 but until training is done is only minimum wage. Still that is better than nothing. Hopefully I will be able to start producing lines quickly !!!

I am so jittery this morning. This thing of constantly having to be so vigilant looking for work is really starting to get me. Last week I got up when I was sure nobody was watching the system and typed extra and it is a good thing I did in order to get the required line count.

I am going to practice what I preach for once. As I suggested to our der Kerstig, nice slow, deep breaths, calming thoughts.

This too shall pass. Thanks for hearing me Christmas family !! xo

I know everything will be ok for you. God won't let you be jobless and you are working hard to do good!

Hey Made (or anyone else who watched American Idol), was there a singer you liked real well last night? I know it's early to pick just one because it changes so much until the top 12 are reached.

I really loved the voice of the annoying girl with the flashy stars on her bikini top. Maybe she will tone that part of herself down later in the competition if she makes the top 12. The way she acted before she sang, I thought for sure her voice would be awful but was surprised how good she sounded!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It's 50 degrees here in northern California, so obviously no snow for us, AGAIN! I am running late, but one of my goals is to catch up each morning on posts from the previous night. So now I will go to work and thank about y'all having fun on the forums. We are doing so well on the posts: already at 2,128, unless someone gets one posted before I do! Talk to y'all later this afternoon.

Over 2000 posts already and we are still in January!!! I feel bad because I just don't have time to go back and read everything. I try to scan through, but I know I miss a lot.

Gonna be a cold one here today, only gonna be in the 30s, that makes for a very cold warehouse to work in. Trying to dress warm for my type of work is a challenge because I have to be able to move around driving my forklift, and getting off lifting boxes and stuff. I just try to layer some stuff on and wear long johns, but I still freeze.

Stay warm. Try putting an extra pair of socks on, when I have the extra pair on while working in the cooler or freezer my whole body tends to be warmer than when wearing only one pair.

Busy morning around here, had to get the boys up and ready to drop Sidney off at the vet for 8:30, then drop JP off at school and then I took LC to a couple of store to peruse any Christmas clearance that may be left, CVS had nothing but Kmart still had an aisle and a half left, I decided to pick up 4 boxes of mini lights the sign said 75% off I got to the register and they were 90% off I only paid $.99 for each and they were the good kind not the cheapies I usually buy. Then we did a small grocery shopping after that. I will be leaving for another long night of work in an hour. More snow tomorrow.

I forgot to report that I bought a Kindle last Friday. I promised to let you know what I thought of it. ...
One thing I don't like, especially as a proofreader: If the samples I downloaded are any indication, digital books are rife with formatting glitches and typos. It's too bad that digital books don't get the attention of a good editor and proofreader, especially since some of them cost as much as or more than a real book!

Caninemom3: I don't know anything about this, but I was just thinking about your abilities and MerryCareys experience with proofreader glitches on Kindle. I wonder if Kindle hires transcribers. If Kindle does or is considering including medical journals in their booklist, a knowledgeable medical transcriber would be a necessity to avoid (medical) typos...
I do hope work picks-up soon!

You got some good deals! I didn't even attempt to look at clearance sales on Christmas items this year. Even if they are giving it away, I just don't have room! lol. I know I would buy something so I just avoided it altogether. =)

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!! It is a snowy day here in central Indy. We've got about 2 inches so far with another 3 on the way. Then tonight the temps are supposed to drop below zero. Most of my day is going to spent shoveling snow and watching nascar practice on speed channels website. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
