When we are all not trapped in by the cooler or cold weather I am sure the posts will dwindle a bit.
When my wife grades papers they all surround her while she plugs away at them on her lap desk, she gets so mad sometimes because the cats jump on them or the kids knock them to the floor.
Holy Jingle bells, we are almost there!! Unbelievable!! Hello folks, I was over at my momand dads on the other side of town tonight. Driving through their neighborhood , I spied several houses with lights and I could even get a peek in through the window of one house and I could see a tree still up in all its yuletide splendor.
Hope everyone is doing well tonight, I am amzed at the ambition and fortitde everyone is showing by making so many posts Its so nice. Its so nice to come here! I get the feeling that even though we are all miles apart that there is a genuine camaraderie and friendship. I just wanted to pop in for a few and see how the count is going. Hopefully I willbe able to read the posts posted previously . Talk to you all later !!:
I see one lonely little tree lit in a window every night when I drive home, I smile every time I see it. This site is great the people are wonderful with the encouragement and caring they all show, it is why I come here at least once a day.

I just caught up on all the posts made since this morning, over 100 since I was last here 11 hours ago. I guess I made #2100 while I was quoting others posts, I am sorry I don't mean to take the milestone posts I have done three in the last few days. Work was work, just grateful to have a job, I can't wait to be my own boss, just a few years away. The drive home was fruitful on my Christmas light count, counted 28 houses with lights still up, I love it. During the day I look for wreaths still up, I don't count them though. Will be up early tomorrow taking our kitten Sidney to get neutered, Bob Barker would be so proud.
Have a good night and may twinkle lights and Christmas sights fill your dreams tonight.

Hi every one. Just came in to wish you all a great day, and because I am not doing well on studying (obviously cause I am here). Every time I start studying I panick and I start doing something else (but that doesn't help, the panick is just bigger next time I start). I need to get myself together and get going. Going now

Well sitting here eating some ham and beans and was going to read all the posts and oops none here. Guess it snowed everywhere and all is still asleep. Well going to head out and push snow I guess hence why I am eating ham and beans for breakfast. Grain shovel been out in the cold all night so snow won't stick to it so as soon as I eat a warm breakfast here will jump into the van and be gone.

Have been sitting here 2 hours with no work again !! I just don't understand it. I know it is not personal, but it feels like it is. Something must have gone awry that the company is not sharing. New job starts Feb 3 but until training is done is only minimum wage. Still that is better than nothing. Hopefully I will be able to start producing lines quickly !!!
I am so jittery this morning. This thing of constantly having to be so vigilant looking for work is really starting to get me. Last week I got up when I was sure nobody was watching the system and typed extra and it is a good thing I did in order to get the required line count.
I am going to practice what I preach for once. As I suggested to our der Kerstig, nice slow, deep breaths, calming thoughts.

Over 2000 posts already and we are still in January!!! I feel bad because I just don't have time to go back and read everything. I try to scan through, but I know I miss a lot.
Gonna be a cold one here today, only gonna be in the 30s, that makes for a very cold warehouse to work in. Trying to dress warm for my type of work is a challenge because I have to be able to move around driving my forklift, and getting off lifting boxes and stuff. I just try to layer some stuff on and wear long johns, but I still freeze.

Time is passing so fast.......as can be proven by our statistics:
Days to the Season: 297
Days to Christmas Day: 339
And the day after tomorrow will see us down to only 3 weeks to our 2nd Milestone of 2011, the 1/4 Season mark.
Just think about that for a minute, now. We will then already be a QUARTER of the way back to our grand and glorious Christmas Season.

It is supposed to reach 50 this afternoon but then be in the 30's or 40's for the remainder of the forecast period.
