Wow! Took me forever just to reply to you due to everything running so slow. Thanks for the link!!! I am about to go to bed but bookmarked it for later.

Thanks again. =)

Goodnight everyone!

The warmest we are going to get next week is 30. They are also calling for 3 more snow storms in the next 10 days. I don't know what lead them to predict a mild winter for us but they were defintely wrong.

I think they have earned a big "OOPS"

Who thinks we can hit 2400 tonight! We have round bout 8 1/2 hours to do so. I was checking the archived chats earlier today and saw that the current number of posts was not reached until feb /MaRCH . Unbelievable !!

I got sucked into the Christmas Clearance vortex earlier and for 40 cents I bought a refillable soap pump designed to look like a Christmas ornament. It reminds me of the old style shinybrite striped ornaments .

Nice find, and is that what you named yourself after?

You guys seriously amaze me with the number of posts here! How do you keep up with reading them all?
... It's 70 degrees here, still waiting on some snow...

70* sounds nice, we will be -10*F this weekend, snow, freezing temps, must be winter in New England

Evening all! 30 minutes till I leave here. I need to pickup milk on the way home. My Christmas cd is in the cd player in my van hehehe. I have some pictures I will post tonight if I dont fall asleep. They are "signs Christmas still is around" pictures. Well back to work! Have a great evening all!

I am still listening to good old Bing every day to and from work, I can't get enough Christmas music this year

I had a great day. My daughter treated me to lunch today and it was nice hanging out with her. She is a busy career girl and I don't get to spend a lot of time with her. We see each other all through the week, have brief conversations on the phone and email back and forth so it was nice to just relax and have lunch together.

My internet is running very sluggish today and I am struggling to catch up on the post. Taking forever to load each page. I thought it was my computer but it's not. Every computer in our house is having the same issue.

Anyway, I will try to catch up later when I can figure out what's wrong.

Enjoy your Friday evening everyone! cheesy

Glad you had a good day with your daughter

Evening aLL, well I had a not so productive day today. Woke up tp find that school was cancelled and uh.... went uh back to bed and slept till ... uh 12:00 noon. Husband AND I went out for chinese tonight. We go to the same place about every two week's. I am painfully full right now. Anyhow, on the way home I noticed some houses with lights up and on. They were white lites, so I am thinking that instead of being Christmas lights they are now " "winter lights"
as I mentioned earlier that I kept mine up as they are red and white and will work for Valentines day. I also have snowflake lights up on my deck . They have been on 24/7 for weeks. They are a nice sturdy set made by GE and I got them in NOV. Well as My husband and I were pulling in our drive way ,to my horror I noticed that only four of the eight snowflakes were lit.

I am so bummed out about this. Its too darn cold to go and take em down right now. Its literally is only 10 degrees with a windchill of 1. Pl,us they are all wired around the railing it would be a major endeavor. Anyone else use these lights and encounter this. My husband thinks it may be a fuse. But the thing is that the lights are kind of inside the snowflake. I dont know if changing the light in the event in were burnt out. is possible. CAN anybody hep me out on this one? :snowball:

They will always be Christmas lights, winter lights are the stars and the moon. I don't know much about the snowflakes sorry.
