Good Morning, New Week Friends.

A new week -- a new count figure:
Days to the Season: 293
Days to Christmas Day: 335
Just 19 days off from Milestone #2, Guys - the one quarter Season mark.

Much "warmer" here this morning where we stand at 28.
Still cold but better than the low of 16 we had the previous night.
Overcast, but no precip predicted until tomorrow night or Wednesday.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
I hope your week is off to a great (as however possible for Monday!) start.

Hahahahahaha!

Good Evening!
What a day. I was soooooooo lazy. I slept and slept some more...*L* We got a "skiff" of snow this evening. Last night I went to a Battle of the Bands because my brothers band played. And guess what...they won! The prize is a paid gig at this place. He was really excited and I was so very happy for him. Went and had a nice Mexican dinner after that. Hope you all are doing well. cheesy
What kind of music does he play? We've played southern rock for, gosh, 30 years? Could really be that long?? You should post a youtube video of it!

The quarter mark is to the start of the season, which we determine to be November 13. cheesy

  That's how we're feeling here this morning! Five below zero, with wind chills about 25 below!
I though it was cold here at 27°. LOL!

Brrr, good morning friends! Haven't been around in a bit because I have 2 veryyy sick kids. They are on the mend (I think - I hope!) but man, it's been tough taking care of them both!

I see some of you all are also freezing your butts off... the temp on my computer finally says it's above 0, so that's a plus! It was -1 a few min ago! Tomorrow we are going up to 39 - should I wear a tank top? LOL!

Good m-m-mmorning,

It is/was a balmy -20*F in the Greater Springfield, Massachusetts area this morning, without any wind chill, it was so cold I started coughing the instant that cold air went into my lungs. I drove JP to school this morning did not want him waiting out in that cold, some schools in the area canceled school due to the cold, I am sure they would have here also but they have canceled school 4 times in the last week and a half, and with the threat of another possible nor'easter coming in they did not want to do it again. We are all in multiple layers of clothes and we have our little heat fan for a little extra warmth, and so the oil doesn't burn as quickly. I will be taking down the last of the indoor Christmas decorations today  I don't want to but my wife is done seeing them all, time to move on I guess. 9 months and one week until they start to come back out again. I hope everyone has a good day, I am not leaving the house again today, don't want to be out in the cold again, and I don't have to work today.

I'll talk to you all throughout the day.
:hello:

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have a busy week ahead, between my son's basketball games, my daughter's dance practices and my jobs. No complaints, though. It's good to have work to do, huh?

We spent last night (after homework) catching up on the Disney Channel shows. It's funny how interested we adults can get in the shows when that's all we get to watch.

My son has a basketball game tonight in Savannah, so I can't get much work done this afternoon. But I refuse to miss a game. Life's too short to work all the way through my kids' childhood.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

One of my co-workers said his daughter was diagnosed with a strain of e-coli that's very rare. So much so, that the state interviewed his family to find out where they have been eating. Eek!

I know what you mean, I have become a fan of Phineas & Ferb, Back at the Barnyard, Toot & Puddle and Caillou watching the kids channels.

Wait till they get older. Then you'll be concerned that Cody and Bailey on The Suite Life on Deck will never get back together. Oh my. cheesy

You're making a wise choice. He will be grown and gone before you know it. Can't believe my son is 15.

Mine is 13, and I still can't believe it, either.

After over 2 weeks, we were able to actually drive up to our home on Saturday. Now they are calling for more snow Tuesday/Wednesday. We will probably be walking again. 4 wheel drive will sometimes get us up the mountain but it doesn't help much going down.
