gMORNING/ aFTERNOON , Christmas Pals, How are you today on this last day of January. The sun is shining here, but that is the calm before the storm as we are supposed to get slammed by some nasty weather shortly.

Subbing today and have some really difficult students today. They uh... always make things uh interesting to say the least.

This made me think of that commercial where the lady is calling to redeem her 250,000 reward points and the MAN comes on and says "this peggy how may I help you" in broken English. That commercial rings so true! but anyways glad it all worked out for you!

Good afternoon everyone! its overcast and rainy here today. I just recieved word my Portuguese grandmother who lives in Miami,fl is flying in to see me tomorrow and spend time here for a week maybe 2 weeks. She has never came specifically to see just me,so I am really looking forward to it. She only speaks broken english so it's time to whip out my pocket translator! she is my only grandparent I have left and she is 84,but you can hardly tell it. she is a rowdy one..I'm sure she will be the first to do vodka shooters with my buddies! so the rest of the day I will be getting her room ready.Hope everyone is having a great day.!

I forgot! today is the last day of January!!! It only gets better from here out on out! Even if Feb is still cold there are certain things that you can notice about the upcoming season...for one the days are noticably longer if only for about 30 minutes but it is a start. And on weds its groundhog day.Please oh please be an early spring this year!

Grandma for two weeks? You ok with that! ?:? Sounds like you are! lol , well enjoy your time with her. And think , when she leaves i t will be mid febuary already.

Afternoon all! Hope you all had a great weekend. A snow storm is moving in slowly. 30cm of snow is headed our way! YAY! I wonder where we will put it? We already have over 2 feet on our front and back lawn. Maybe we will eat the snow? Snow cones anyone?! haha. We had our potluck dinner on Saturday. Big hit. We played some punch out, mario kart, new super mario bros and just dance on the Wii! Sunday we picked up a used dresser for my wifes clothes. So it was a good weekend! Time to go back to work!!!

Yeah, I love the longer days. I gives me time to actually get something done after work. I wish they'd turn Daylight Savings Time on and leave it one!
