just finished shrink wrapping my living room window, and for the first time can sit near it without shivering! Should have done that a lot sooner.
Old buildings, but nice neighbourhood!
Wind is starting to pick up already in advance of the storm. (-11c)

I forgot write this earlier, when I got home from work I was talking to my wife and we realized LC snuck down into the basement, I went down to get him and he was in the room that is closed off from the cats, I told him to get up the stairs, and I notice the cabinets that were on the wall had fallen off at some point. My heart dropped when I saw it laying there, because that is where I store all my fragile Christmas decorations, I was almost in tears I couldn't even think. I put on my shoes and started going through what I thought was going to be carnage. I did lose some but all my village houses were fine and the Santa praying at the baby Jesus was fine here is the picture http://mymerrychristmas.com/forum/album.php?albumid=542&pictureid=5633 We were quite lucky not to lose more.

that would upset me too! Glad to hear most of it survived and your village will rise again. I love your Santa figure with the baby Jesus.

Would I do that???

This is your lucky day!!! It is a sheet of Christmas paper! WooHoo!! I do have to tell you that prize #4 was a bar of gold. Chin up, though. We have lots more milestones!!!

Well, you be the judge ...

How many of you have Super Bowl plans? What are they?

To miss it cheesy

Us, too ... we've been known to fix hot dogs and watch DVDs of classic Red Sox games. I also like to catch some of the Puppy Bowl, especially the half-time show with the kittens.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! After 4 days of battling a stomach bug I think I may be finally over it. I am feeling pretty lazy after not really eating for 4 days but there is to much to do today to just lay around. We are expecting a major winter storm here over the next couple of days with up 1.5 inches of ice across central Indy. I only have a half of bag of salt left so I will be heading out here shortly to search for a store that still has some left. Then I need to run by the grocery store to pick up some stuff in case we lose power. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay safe, friend. I will be thinking of all of you the next few days.
