Hii every one! Today was the first day of my internship at the ministery of foreign affairs! I am soo tired! Got to meet at least 50 people, learned a lot about the going-on at the ministery, got my own office, it was a very long but interesting day! I feel soo great about working there, nothing but kind people doing important things! Wish I could work there forever
I am totally tired, so i'm going to get in pj's have a nice evening/day (depends on your time)!

That's what round one left us. Round 2 is just starting and we are expecting double the amount of ice (another inch), 1-2 inches of snow, and 50mph winds tomorrow morning.

What a coincidence. LadyJonD and I went out this past Saturday looking for a new entertainment center. We didn't find one liked either. But I went home in a new pick up truck!

Oh, no, the snow has made him insane!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is an icy morning here in central Indy. We have at least a half inch of ice so far and another inch is expected this afternoon. There are about 12,000 people without power so far and hopefully it doesn't get any worse. Mom decided to stay home from work thankfully. They are saying that the main roads are passable but that is going to change once the second wave hits. Well I am going to go outside and put down some salt and work on getting my truck and mom's car cleaned off. I hope everyone stays safe and has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

The amount of snow we're getting is kinda scary, but I'm thankful we're not getting an ice storm. (We are expecting some sleet and freezing rain overnight, though ...) Hope your power doesn't go out and that you and yours can stay warm and safe. That goes for everyone suffering with snow and ice today.

Wayne just called and they are letting everyone leave work early due to the weather.

I told him he will come home just in time to watch Oprah with me! He got real quiet. :lol:

I am happy he is coming home early! Maybe we can watch a movie together.

How many of you have Super Bowl plans? What are they?

Its my oldest Son's 4th Birthday! His party is going to be Saturday though. My best friend's Birthday is Monday so we are all going out to dinner early and over her house to let the kids play and hopefully we will be able to watch some of the game!

I forgot write this earlier, when I got home from work I was talking to my wife and we realized LC snuck down into the basement, I went down to get him and he was in the room that is closed off from the cats, I told him to get up the stairs, and I notice the cabinets that were on the wall had fallen off at some point. My heart dropped when I saw it laying there, because that is where I store all my fragile Christmas decorations, I was almost in tears I couldn't even think. I put on my shoes and started going through what I thought was going to be carnage. I did lose some but all my village houses were fine and the Santa praying at the baby Jesus was fine here is the picture http://mymerrychristmas.com/forum/album.php?albumid=542&pictureid=5633 We were quite lucky not to lose more.

I bet your heart sunk. Glad it wasnt too bad!

I am getting ready to crank up the heat and head to bed. Hopefully we don't lose power overnight but I have the candles and flashlights laid out just in case. Goodnight and I hope everyone stays safe!!!!!!!

Well I am finally posting today to say Happy February! We were spared from the storm with a small amount of freezing rain/ice. Tonight could still be a possibility but tomorrow will be in the mid 40's so it will all be rain by then. I have off of work but have to go have a few cavities filled at the dentist and am still trying to get over this cold. I will be happy to be home with my kiddies though. Everyone be safe and stay warm!

Welp they called needing me to run the Cat loader so off I go it's nasty out there and not really looking forward to this at all. Just somethings not really worth the money even if it is good money. Everyone getting hit with this storm stay in relax and in couple days or less it will all be over. I just hope all the power grids stay up for everyone. See ya when I see ya.:
