What if you do not have a wife, husband, girl friend, boy friend etc, what can you do on valentines day?

How about...

sending flowers to your mom? Your neighbour who is a single mom, or a widow and also has no one.

Take a box of chocolates over to your local police / fire station with a note telling them how much you appreciate them.

Donate a few dozen special cupcakes at your homeless shelter / food bank or soup kitchen. Everyone needs a special treat and needs to know someone cares.

Any one else have some nice ways to show love on valentines day?

In the last 15 years and since the collapse of the Soviet union in 1991 they have closed many American AF bases in the UK. There use to be many scattered around England. Now there are only a few.Milldenhall,lakenheath and alconbury and molesworth. I wonder if those will last very long...

How is everyones monday going? I have been on the phone all morning with delta airlines. I am a Gold Medallion Delta customer. I lost my wallet on a flight into ATL. I go to customer service in terminal B to see if it was turned in... dude behind the counter says they wouldn't know to how to contact me even if they found it. I'm thinking it has my name, address, photo, credit cards and I fly the airline well over 75 segments per year.... REALLY? You wouldn't know how to get a hold of me??? Wow.
I am currently on hold while customer service"finds" a manager for me to talk to in jamaica!hope everyone has a great day..the weather here is brite sunny skies.

Days to Christmas Day: 314
Two weeks from today will see us safely to Milestone #3, the 300-day Christmas Day mark.

A much warmer begining to the morning here today where we started out at 46 on the way up into the 60's.
(With no chance of rain, I simply must get in a good walk or two!)

Oh it's THAT time of year again right? the only year I watched the grammy's or some other award thingy was in 1998 when TITANIC won all of them,other than that i loathe award season. Isn't the grammy's the last one of the season? Hope you made it through! great..this also means when I switch on the news this morning it's going to be a recap of it!

Hope you didn't waste to much time watching the news it was I am sure more boring than the show was.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day,


It is actually quite warm here this morning, or at least feels that way I don't know if you can call 41*F warm. I am on my last week of working mostly nights, wohoooo!
Early mornings and early to bed will be the new calling as of next week. Spent the first part of this morning doing laundry and dishes while getting JP out the door for the bus, potty training with LC, I feel a little sad that the Mr. Mom gig is just about up though, but it is time to move on and better for LC to learn more at the daycare/preschool setting to get him ready for his schooling years.

I hope your Monday turns up all roses and chocolates!

You know a friend was taken to the hospital once while out of town and it took us several days to find them. The excuse we got was that they (the hospital) could not get into our friends wallet due to HIPPA laws and try to contact any of us since his injuries were not life threating or he had died. They was more or less out of it. Had fell outside a resturant and had a nasty head wound. They was waiting till he could advised who he wanted contacted. I asked a local nurse about it and she said they let local police do the contacting and stay out of it. I swear things get more retarded everyday.

Our Sweethearts' dinner was wonderful!!! We had tri-tip, salad, rice, WONDERFUL mushrooms, corn, rolls, grilled onions. Oh, my. And then dessert--two heart-shaped chocolate cakes with creamy whipped frosting with red sprinkles and pink sprinkles. Soooo good!!

Good Monday Valentine's Day morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a beautiful weekend, and I even got to go fishing with my son. Even though we didn't catch anything, it was great getting back out on the pond. My supervisor is buying a boat to fish at the coast, and says he's taking me and Jacob out salt water fishing. I am deathly afraid of sharks, so he's been telling me how to handle one if I catch one. Hmmmm. I dunno.
