I hated valentines day at school when I was growing up because I was one of the have nots. I was badly teased and bullied (that was back when the attitude was, "they will work it out, just leave them alone")

I am sorry to hear. I was one of those as well for a couple of years in elementary school. It's not easy going through that! I didn't have those issues in high school but elementary was a little rough.

Guess what though? You are such a sweet lady and those who bullied you lost out on a good friend! cheesy

Good evening, Christmas family. In just about half an hour I am going to get started working this evening. We are allowed to log on half an hour early if we want to and I really need to. Have to get my line count up there. I am not looking forward to tonight as I didn't really rest well today and have a bit of a headache heading into tonight. But this too shall pass.

Same here ... but I'm having the last laugh. I found the love of my life and have a very happy marriage and an interesting life, while my former tormentors are probably mixed-up, unhappy people!

We went back to my home state for a visit a few years ago and had lunch at a Denny's. Our waitress was one of my worst tormentors from elementary school. :mrgreen:

I added 2 new signatures to the one that Auntie had already made for me. She made me the first signature, Caninemom gave me the one with chihuahuas and Blue Christmas gave me the Runner Girl in my birthday greeting thread. I love the signatures, thanks!

I am planning on running in the St. Paddy's Day 5k race. I am not competing against anyone else out there, only competing against myself. Like I said before I might end up in last place but I can at least say, "I did it"! My brother who is training for a half marathon (13 miles) confirmed he will run along side me for moral support. I know I mentioned all this before but I just talked to my brother Saturday and he said he can make that race. Now let's just hope the weather holds up and nothing gets in the way! That Runner Girl avatar should help keep me motivated. cheesy

Why is our weather man always right about the rain, and some of yours have been a little off about the snow? Send me your weather man and I will send you ours!!!

The day of Cupid is less than 30 minutes away from being over, not much was planned for us today, with both of us working opposite shifts, we will be doing a little something on Sunday for it instead. I hope everyone had a good day. Just getting back into the management frame of mind again, I feel a little lost and out of sync after 2.5 years out of it, but I am sure it will be like riding a bike soon enough.

The weather today is beautiful! All the snow is melting which means gross slush, but that's okay cause that means warm weather is around the corner. I'm ready for SUMMER!!

You give to everybody or nobody!!

Well, Vday is almost over....i dunno if I should call it vday or dday....

I hate this holiday at school....some kids get and some don't....not fair to those that don't...at least I don't think....kids have enough have's and have not's already...

As for me and mine...we kept it simple....pizza, salad, dinner with no tv...took the dogs walkin together....and we still hold hands when we go walk....
