Adjusting to the new schedule is a little harder than I thought at first, got home and fell asleep. Day off tomorrow, it will be our little family day since it is school vacation week. No other news to report on my wife's grandmothers.

Well, tomorrow morning I head out of town. The good news is that the computer is going and there is wifi. I just don't like leaving with so much going on Oh well, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

Monday down! No more basketball, so I'm looking forward to relaxing some this weekend...no worrying about ballgames or school events....it will be nice to just be able to come home at 5 or 6 and just stay.

evening all, havent been around in a few, I am adjusting to the new job as a long term sub. I am teaching 7-8th grade special ed English. So far so good. I have skimmed the posts and I see that some of us are experiencing some hardships . Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Its hard to believe that we are at the end of February !!!! In my mind Christmas is right around the corner as when we hit March the year flies!!! Better get a move on folks , its coming fast !! :

Hello all! Hope your all well, Im just having a minute on here before doing afew chores, Been looking round the forums and am finding it alittle sad how quiet they are now, It was a bustle of activity a few week ago on here hehe!

Kids are on half term week, so naturally all they have done the past couple of days is say how bored they are! the weather is no good for them to be outside and i havent been able to take them anywhere due to my little girl not being well, I feel like each of my children in turn are catchin a horrible bug going around!

Good Morning Christmas friends..I slept so good last night! I am so excited I am in the process of booking hotel and flights this summer to Montana( I have never been) every summer I meet my parents where ever we decide to have vacation,last year it was New orleans. this year montana and Idaho for a week. I will probably still freeze my buns off in the summer there. When I went to michigan a few summers ago I was running the heat,and everyone thought I was nutso. Anyhow I am looking over plane rates and hotel packages the last week of June. on a side note whenever I go on summer vacation it always makes me really think the holidays are approaching fast. By the time I get back and before I know it Fall is here and so are the holidays! everyone have a good day and hang in there... oh the temp is a muggggy 66F at 7 am..who the heck knows about this weather... I am already on my allergy meds in FEB! outragous!

.....Its hard to believe that we are at the end of February !!!! In my mind Christmas is right around the corner as when we hit March the year fly's!!! Better get a move on folks , its coming fast !!

Yes, indeed, Shiny Brite. There's something psychologically uplifting about reaching March. You feel like the cold weather is basically behind you and you can look forward to warmer, more active days.

And here's something else psychologically uplifting:
Days to the Season: 264
Days to Christmas Day: 306
And as can plainly be seen, we are now UNDER a week off from the 300-Day Christmas Day mark!

A bit somber and overcast here this morning where we stand at 47 degrees.
Slowly, the chance of rain is increasing and we have a good shot at some of the wet stuff later in the week.
(We actually could use it as it's rather dry around here.)
