LC's birthday was great, he enjoyed himself so much, he loved the bowling, he got a 52 as a 3 year old. (of course the lane had the bumpers) I can't believe I don't have a 2 year old anymore, and we are 99.99% sure we will not have anymore kids at this point. My boys are growing up so quickly. He loved all the toys he got, he had such a great smile all day long.
When we got home I finally took down all of my outdoor Christmas lights (except the ones on the roofline) the yard looks so empty now since everything has been up for the last 5 months.

I know what you mean by kids growing up so fast. My daughter has 3 kids and cannot have anymore. Surgery fixed that.

My son is 20 and said he will only adopt if the time ever comes. He said there are way too many kids in this world that need a home. I don't see that happening anytime soon. He is focused only on school at the moment. He is young and things change so you never know if he decides to have a child of his own. The adoption plans sounds great though!

For now, just 3 grandkids, which is plenty! They keep me busy!!!

If gas keeps going up, you might consider an electric golf cart! Hey, I drive mine to work on nice days, sometimes. Of course, I only live 2 miles away.

That's a good one!!! Wayne is joining a golf tournament with the church at the end of April. Maybe he could drive the golf cart home. I think living in this busy city he would get pulled over REAL QUICK trying to drive a golf cart on the streets here. :lol:

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was another busy weekend, and I didn't even get a chance to go fishing. :-? Maybe one day this week, though.

My brother and I worked on our mom's lawn mower again yesterday. He's the best mechanic I know, but this thing is going to whip him, I'm afraid. The mower is one of those big zero-turn industrial types, so replacing it is too expensive to consider if a little hard work will getting it running good again. He may have to concede defeat and put it in the shop. We'll see.

Anyway, we had a cool day here in southeast Georgia yesterday after almost 90° on Saturday. It's supposed to be back in the mid-80's today. If the wind will just settle down, now.

Good morning friends! Up and at em! I'm about to finish drinking coffee and then head outside to play for a few hours. Trying to plant some trees, but the holes have to be 6 ft wide and 18 inches deep. Have you ever tried doing that in wet gumbo dirt? Does not make for an easy time. But sitting here doesn't make it any easier! I'm off....see yall later!

You are not kidding.lol I pass those things all the time when I am going to/from work...what's worse and I am not kidding at all; is some people around here even drive those little scooters for the disabled...on the friggin highways!! so dangerous!!

Good morning everyone! I am currently stopped and eating a very late breakfast at IHOP! it looks like I am going to be driving through some rain today,but I am eager to get home. I am feeling alot better today,even my energy has come back. Life is good again,I hope anyone who is sick gets to feel better soon,I have forgotten how rotton it is to be sick...Next year I am getting the flu shot! although I don't know if that would have helped me this year with laryngitis but next year I will not take any chances!

Good morning... woke up to a dreay raining morning....aside from the claps of thunder it would have been a perfect morning to stay in bed however the work day called.

I can not get over how fast these past 3 months went. Just 3 months ago we were all getting ready for the big day. Hopingthe next 3 months go by equally as fast.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is a beautiful day here in central Indy with just a slight chance of rain and a high of 72. We will be back down in the 40's by thursday though. I haven't been sleeping good and it caught up with me this morning. I didn't wake up until my sister called at 11:30. Now I am getting ready to start my spring cleaning. My goal for today is take down all of the curtains in the apartment and wash them. Then I am going to take down all of the blinds and give them a good scrubbing. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, yesterday didn't exactly go as planned. The cookout was cancelled b/c my brother-in-law's (and one of my best friends) Dad had emergency surgery. He's been battling cancer for sometime now. It's getting tough and they don't know how much longer.

I will be keeping all of you in my prayers friend.



As far as those holes for the trees go, just drink 3 pots of coffee before heading out and you will have them done in no time.

Good afternoon, everyone. I went back to the doctor and he said to stay off work for another week. I cannot believe how exhausted I have felt each day. I washed my hair yesterday and it was killer using my right arm.
