xmas365, my grandson loves your signature. I scrolled through the pages and he hollered, "wait, I want to see that picture"! Then he looked at the Christmas Tree and said, "cool"! cheesy

Well, it looks like we got out of last night with out any snow! Thank goodness! I just don't know if I could handle snow for a 3rd time in one week - at least not this late in March. Christmas spirit or not, it is still supposed to be spring around here!

Got a couple of various things going on for work today - although none of it was scheduled out. I am hoping to still be around this morning at 10 because the Cardinals mascot, Fredbird, is coming to my daughters daycare today for a Opening Day Eve Party. They're having free hotdogs and sodas and such for the kids and residents (she goes to a daycare that is inside of a nursing home.) It should be a lot of fun! So here's to hoping they don't need me at work!

Thanks for all of the prayers for my friends!

I hope that everyone has a great day. I'm off to eat a few fired twinkies!

That sounds fun for the kids, my boys are afraid of mascots and such, so it probably wouldn't be to fun if Wally the Green Monster showed up for them. cheesy

Seawaters and Jude, I am so sorry to hear for losing loved ones to suicide. My best friend's dad did the same. I won't go into details but the whole situation was terrible of how he was found and especially that it was his youngest son that found him. =(

I heard this the other day:

Question: Who loves you most, your wife or your dog?

Answer: Lock them both in the car trunk for two hours. When you finally open it, notice which one is happy to see you.

Not that it ever crossed my mind, or anything. cheesy

I almost spit my cereal out when I read this one. cheesy

Good Morning, Friends.

Here is a cup for the Pines. Filler up with the coffee/tea of your choice.

Does Carl have my Veggie Coffee today? cheesy

Yes, indeed! And Carl is so pleased with C-A-H's coffee mug, he's offering a free first cup of, yes, veggie coffee to all 'Pines visitors today.
Not only that, but the kitchen is overstocked on fired twinkies so a 3-for-1 sale is being offered. You don't want to miss that!
(Right, Holiday? And welcome back to the 'Pines, by the way, my friend!)

OK! The peak-of-the-week.
And let's take a peek at the count numbers.
<< groan! >>
Shhhh!
Days to the Season: 228
Days to Christmas Day: 270
Under 4 weeks away now from the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
Exactly 4 weeks from today: the 200-day Season Window.

Ugh. Cold and rainy here and the precip is supposed to stick around for 4 straight days!
(At least it will wash away the pollen, however temporarily.)
It is dark and 47 degrees here currently.

Well, Carl and I hope to see each and every willing one of you at the Shispering Pines today.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Laney, I am so sorry - my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Good morning, Christmas Friends! I hope all of you have a Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Good morning, everyone! Here comes another busy day in Doctor's Office Land, the sick people are already lining up and the Doc isn't even here yet. I hope all of you are taking your vitamins and washing your hands, so you don't get this virus that's going around. Stay well!

Holiday, does Jingle Bell Java get Christmas here faster? If so, I need a cup!

Have a great day everyone!

I'm not sure that it will make Christmas get here faster, BUT it will make the time until Chrismtas much more pleasant! :-D

Carl is AWESOME!
Kids are at school, and daycare, I have a couple of hours before I have to go to work. It's pretty bad when 2 days off in a row feels like a vacation. I am not looking forward to what I will walk into today.
Hopefully all will go well at work for you!

Yes ma'am! I do take my vitamins every single day and a little obsessed with washing my hands. cheesy I wonder why I still end up getting sick all the time. :-?

It was a dark and stormy morning...hmmm, it almost writes itself!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Our weather is about the same as Crown's; wet and dark. That's ok, though. We've needed some rain for a while now. And the pollen is being washed away, at least until the pecans start budding.

Not much to report aside from the rain. It's been quiet this week, and that's the way I like it.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning! It is dark and very stormy here too brad...with 100 percent chance of rain today..I hope we get enough to make up for the dry Feb,and most of this month I think we will too. I was reading in my local paper of the lady in florida who fell in a sink hole in her own yard! luckily she had her cell phone in her hand. Just thinking about that makes me claustraphobic. I guess the ground was saturated and gave way when she walked across the yard. She is okay luckily they got her out. Hope everyone has a great day!

Oh that so sounds like me when I go shopping. I finally get some money to go and get so excited, and then I leave semi-depressed because nothing fits right! What is Giti? I've never heard of that store.

Glad that there were no life threatening injuries in the accident, but I can only imagine how scary the scene must have been to watch.

Giti is a juniors-type store that has really nice yet reasonably priced clothes. I'd never seen one before (or if I had, I didn't remember it), but it was really cool.

Yeah, I was a bit of a mess seeing as how I had my own nearly life threatening accident back a couple of years ago. But on the other hand, you can't help but be a bit of a rubbernecker, which Megan and I were trying to do discreetly, but couldn't really without looking like jerks. Other people were out of their cars or sitting on their roofs, but we just couldn't bring ourselves to do that.
