Lots to do today: type up some speeches for my husband, do laundry, do some independent study paperwork, and find my car keys. I still can't believe I lost them! In addition, I will be organizing some scrapbooking materials. Hubby is out in his shop right now fixing my units that will house all my scrapbooking papers. I can hardly wait for him to be finished. I hope each of you has a great day.

I hope you find your car keys! Have you ever read the scrapbooking mysteries by Laura Childs? They are quite good. All the ideas she presents in them have made seriously think about starting a scrapbook myself cheesy

I am going to do a search on her right now! Thanks for the heads up, Meceka!

Got my walk in earlier. It wasn't easy with two of my cats weaving in out of my path :cheesy: Good thing I did, though, as the rain is here. Although I love snow, I am hoping it will disappear this week. Came in and did the BalleCore workout - it is a combination of Pilates, Hatha Yoga, and ballet. Very good for stress relief!!

I ordered the first three books. The first one is now on my Nook.

Okay it was snowing a few days ago and now it is 75 degrees outside. Why can't we just have normal spring tempatures?

That is the mid-west for you cheesy

If you like those, her tea shop mysteries are really good, too cheesy

Coach- If only the race would have been 5 laps shorter.

I know, right?!? We just keep going up and down here in St. Louis too! Snow one day and then 80 the next. I'd just like to settle in and have a decent spring. It was 86 today! I could go for a month or two straight of the 70's during the day and the upper 50's at night. Sounds perfect to me!

Oh man...the weekend is almost over! I've got some serious spring fever and I am not wanting to get back to work tomorrow!

We finished up the sleepover at our house with donuts for breakfast, church and then took the kids to fly a kite. The kite didn't fare so well since there were 40mph winds and this was a cheap-o 99cent kite. FAIL! But my Cardinals won today and Kaylin and I got to enjoy a nice day at the park. All in all, I can't complain!

The hubster has a procedure at the hospital tomorrow and then I have to go to work in the evening. What a way to start a week! Eesh! But I am thankful for doctors who take great care of my hubby and a good job that allows me to pay said doctors LOL.

I will have a few hours to spare at the hospital tomorrow, so I will bring my ipod loaded with my Christmas music and will be working on some of my planning for this season. I'm hoping to ACTUALLY host a Christmas party this year. I've wanted to for the last 4 years and it has yet to happen. Some of that may depend on if we finish all of the work on the house that we would like to so that the house has a nice complete look. I have to say, with the new paint that we are using, I'm so excited to decorate for Christmas this year LOL. DH doesn't know it, but I chose all of the paint and such with Christmas in mind. It wouldn't surprise him, he just doesn't know it LOL!!

Well, better make some dinner for the kiddo! Talk to you soon!

busy weekends, what ever happened to relaxing and resting up before the next work week starts?
I no longer have traditional weekends with this new job of mine, and will also have very little time at home to start with. My life will be on the truck with once a month trips home.

Hi everyone!

I am finally back home in PA! As much fun as I had on vacation, I'm glad not to be living out of suitcases anymore. And the boyfriend and animals missed me, so it was good to get back to them. :)

I worked both jobs today and I'm happy to say I'm not nearly as exhausted as I thought I'd be (and after so little sleep since I apparently felt I HAD to unpack everything when we got back to our house!). Did cash office at Kohl's for the first time without my cheat sheet and did it in less time than I did the two previous times I was on my own and had the sheet! cheesy Then it was right off to the card shop, where I learned to close the store, which should be pretty easy. Good day overall, and actually glad to be back at work (for now, haha).

Just finished dinner cooked by the bf - crab cakes, an asian-inspired veggie mix, and cocktail shrimp. It was the PERFECT dinner and really hit the spot! Next up is watching the Amazing Race and maybe some eps of my new favorite show Archer. Gotta go to bed early again tonight as I have to be in by 6am. :-? Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

I'm not always blessed with traditional weekends! This is actually my last one (BOO!!) I work in restaurants, so I usually work on Saturdays (we're closed on Sundays.) I'm between two stores right now, so I haven't had to work Saturdays for the last couple of weeks. I'm kind of bummed to start again :( I've quite enjoyed being able to spend the weekends with my daughter and take her to do things! So it may have been busy, but its actually been nice to be running and doing it all with her while I can!
