I'm not always blessed with traditional weekends! This is actually my last one (BOO!!) I work in restaurants, so I usually work on Saturdays (we're closed on Sundays.) I'm between two stores right now, so I haven't had to work Saturdays for the last couple of weeks. I'm kind of bummed to start again :( I've quite enjoyed being able to spend the weekends with my daughter and take her to do things! So it may have been busy, but its actually been nice to be running and doing it all with her while I can!

On December 24, 2010 I worked my last night shift and began a job with weekends (plus Wednesdays) and holidays off.

After about thirty years of shift work and odd off days I was really glad to give my family and myself the Christmas gift that keeps on giving!
 
Good evening,

The week will begin anew in a few hours, boy I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I finally put the Christmas DVD's and CD's that were left out, in their respective homes, they have been on top of the TV or under the under cabinet CD player since December, I just forgot about them for the most part.

I know there is a lot of animal lovers here my boys have been loving to watch the Decorah eagles, two of the eggs just hatched and the mother and father have been amazing to watch. It is a little addicting to watch them, the babies are just little grey fuzzballs right now. I just wanted to share them with all of you.

I got hooked on ustream last year watching various birds, eagles, hawks, etc. It's really cool!

I have hope that day will come for me too RJD! I've put 14 years in so far - looks like maybe I'm about half way there! I agree that was a wonderful gift to give your family this last Christmas cheesy
 
Good evening my Christmas family.

I am just getting ready to go to language la la land and just thought I would stop by. Tonight is my "Monday."

Taking a course of antibiotics for something I am sure does not require antbiotics but because the doc said so I am doing it... We'll see. I finally looked into my index finger being so swollen and red and doc said it is an infection. I am not a doctor but I disagree with him. Still I have to give him the benefit of the doubt so I am on a week long course of Keflex. So far I am right. The antbiotics have done nothing but I have a few more days and we will see.

Well, the language la la fairy is beckoning.

What an end to a beautiful day. A friend suggested that we all meet up for icecream tonight since it is so warm out, so Kaylin and I piled into the car and went for some icecream as the sun set. By the time we left it was night and still warm and I got to enjoy the drive home with the windows down and the Christmas music playing! Kaylin loves, loves, loves Trans Siberian Orchestra, so we had that blasting out the window on the way home.

There's a chance for severe storms tonight and tomorrow including possibility of tornados. Hope all of you that may be in the midwest stay safe and dry!

Hope everyone has a good night. Time to hit the sheets and get rested up for another Monday. Just think, when we wake up we'll be one day closer!!!

This reminds me: I still have some christmasprograms I recorded in december. Maybe I'll watch them one of these weeks.

Morning, friends!

It sure was a beautiful weekend. It was full of sunshine and yard work...perfect. For every bit it was pretty, it supposed to be ugly today. Rain, thunderstorms, hail, and tornadoes are on the menu. Makes me nervous with kids at school.

Watched a good movie last night. If you are an animal lover, I would recommended Hachi. If you are a tough guy, I would watch it alone.

Good Morning MMC !

Well, yesterday it was snowing like crazy here. Around 3 am I awoke to a thunderstorm and rain. More thunderstorms to come through today.

Good morning everyone! the weekend was too fast as usual. spent most of mine driving to/from the beach. As I sit here at work I wonder how I ever did what I did in my early20's which was party all night work or go to school all day without a problem! I have never heard of a 2 day hangover but I have one that is for sure..Friday night my friends found a rock club with live music.So I went had a good time. Saturday night I found an early 80's new wave dance club and we went and had a blast! it was fun to forget about life for a while and just go dance and have fun. It has been a long time since I have let loose like that..I think I may have even swung around a pole a time or two:( but anyhow it's monday again and we are going to get bad weather tonight into tomorrow morning. I betting I will be in bed when it comes.Everyone have a great day!
 
Good morning, Christmas Friends!

I am so tired this morning. Around 2 or 3 am, there was one wicked thunderstorm after another rolling through. I can't recall hearing such loud and long thunder rolls in my life! It scared Bo and he had to have the light on - poor dog is petrified of storms. Mouse was afraid, too, but she is much easier to handle. Just being near her calms her down. Bo wants to run away and so he is much harder to pacify. After the storms passed I couldn't fall back to sleep for another couple of hours. Going to be a long day!
