Christmas Countdown - 2011

I am not sure if I already mentioned this but my son turned 21 years old yesterday! He's my baby! I can't believe he is already 21! He is of legal drinking age and has no desire to drink. He is opposite of how I was at 21! :lol: He was content to hang out with family for his birthday. We took him out to eat Saturday and Sunday.

It's supposed to get in to the 80's today here! Woohoo! After work we're all going to go to Mom's house to see the Oriole's opening day game. Which means that Mom and Sheila will eat pizza and watch the game, and I'll eat pizza and read a book.

Pizza and baseball sounds like a good time.

We had the most wonderful thunderstorms here last night, from about 8 pm till after midnight. I love thunderstorms!

I hate thunderstorms, mainly because when I was a kid our house got struck by lightning, and I remember the walls were glowing blue for a quick second, and our neighbor's house was hit during the same storm, and it made their stove "dance" across the kitchen. Scary stuff.

Afternoon all! Thunderstorms raged through our area too. Heavy rain! It snowed (wet) yesterday as well. In two weekends we are having a weekend vacation to Niagara Falls! Anyone going that weekend? Would love to meet people from the message board. Well I'm at work so back I go! Have a great day all!

I have always wanted to go there, but I won't be there anytime soon. I hope you have a great time.

What a day this has been! I keep waiting for the bad weather and it is on the way! first off I did not think it possible to get stalked across the ocean, but it is...my ex wife who lives in England suddenly decides she wants to give "us" another try...too bad in the last 5 years of our marriage she did not think that way.esp when she was getting my checks every month while I was away in Iraq. but she knows how to push my buttons but I know how to resist,it's just hard too. especially after so many years together.other than that my day has been great!!!lol hope everyone is having a great and safe day!

Good evening,

The thunderstorms reached here today while I was at work, I wasn't sure if it was safe to work in a freezer that stands outside of the building during it. It was one of those crazy days here, driving to work we were getting silver dollar sized snow flakes it was nuts to see them falling so big. When I left work, it was partly sunny.
Watching the Bruins vs Rangers right now, good game thus far. Day off tomorrow, I don't know what to do with my time yet.

I hate sports, Bruins blow a 3 goal lead and LOSE! My Red Sox 0-3! And I am a Bengals fan. What could be worse as a sports fan right now? :?

I forgot to say we are 100 days since last Christmas, wow that seems to have gone quickly. I hope the next 200+ (just until the season gets here) go just as quickly.

Talking about storms, I just went outside and part of the wall fell off the side of my house! The storms just ripped it right off.

Wow!!!! I am glad to hear that it damage anything inside.

Good evening, Christmas family.

Just a quick "Hello" as I start my evening. Storms passed without incident here. Thank God. I hate storms. I used to be terrified of lightning and am stil not fond of it since our house was struck some years back. It actually made the roofing nails shoot out of the roof in spots !! And The wind associated with storms - UGH. It really scares me but thankfully this storm has passed.

Made and everyone in the path of this or future storms I hope you are all safe !!!

Well, off to it. My furkids are here with me. That is so nice. I find their presence so comforting. Smokey will shortly be trying to drive me nuts and since it is a short drive, more like a hop, skip and a jump really, it will not be difficult for him !!

Its not always fun being a St. Louis sports fan, either...but I refuse to be a fair weather fan - I'll support my teams no matter what! Its just sometimes they put me to the test more than others LOL
