GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!! Your thoughts & prayers worked already! My brother is fine!!!!!!!!! He got in to see the doc this afternoon & everything looks goooooood!!!! YIIIIPPPPEEEE!!! He is supposed to be sending an email when he gets home but apparently the pain is just something he will have to live with. (healing pains?)
I have spinning class tonight & was really dreading it...now it just doesn't seem so bad. :) Amazing what some really good news can do for your mood... and a cold - on this dreary day! Lol!!! (but staying home watching Christmas movies still sounds pretty darn good) :D

♥♥♥ Extra thanks to all of you wonderful friends!!!♥♥♥

Excellent news, Holiday!!!!

Happy Rudolph Day!

We had to take our cat back to the vet because he is still sick and had to stronger antibiotics. I worry so much when my babies are sick. I wish they could tell you what's wrong. :-?

The vet feels confidant he should fully recover. I won't be happy until he does!

He is a good vet. He only charges $15.00 for an office visit and all medication he prescribes is reasonable.

Saying prayers for your cat! I wish they could tell us what is wrong, too. I'm glad you like your vet - his prices sound great. We have to get the vet to come out here to give the dogs their shots as Shaggy is 120 pounds or more and way to hard to control - one big, clumsy, deliriously happy dog that I can not control. The vet charges 100 just to come out - but he is a wonderful vet so we pay.

Local news is interrupting regular aired shows. There are tornado's touching down south of us. I hope everyone is ok and they don't move our direction.

Didn't get much done today, but as it is Easter Monday, that is okay. Tomorrow, back to work. I am still working on the fringe for the afghan - it is way too long so when I am all done, some trimming will take place. I should have done a border instead, but I couldn't come up with one that I liked. I already have the yarn and the pattern for my next project picked out - lighter colors so it will be a nice change.

I hope everyone has a great night!!!!!!!

I hope so, too! Saying prayers for all who are in the path of the severe weather and the rain!!!!

And with this post, Meceka is poster #8,600. The prize is almost too good to be true: A copy of the 15 spam emails I got while we were gone this morning, each of the emails dealing my need to have Viagra!!!

We had a great day yesterday. After church, we went to a family Easter dinner-on-the-grounds at a cousin's house, with a huge egg hunt, pinata, sack races, etc. Then we went to my in-law's for another egg hunt and more food. Whew! I think I could lay a few eggs myself after all of them I ate yesterday!
Sounds like a lot of fun! As I mentioned before, I wish I could get my whole family together for other holidays other than Christmas and Thanksgiving. I did have my kids and grandkids yesterday but not the rest of family. It's ok, I still had fun. I think that is why Christmas and Thanksgiving are just SO SPECIAL to me. Everyone shows up! cheesy
My best friend since 9th grade that lives in TN is coming down next thursday and staying until the next sunday...and I am looking forward to the visit very much.
You are so VERY LUCKY to have a best friend! I must say I am a bit jealous. My best friend passed away a year and a half ago. I miss her dearly! I don't mean to sound like a downer but wanted to just tell you to cherish every minute. Have a great time with your friend! cheesy
We had beautiful weather here, and a lovely dinner at my Mom's house.
Sounds like a wonderful time!
Hubby and I watched a History Channel show on the Vatican last night. It was so interesting.
I saw that was coming on. I was thinking about watching it but ended up turning on TCM and watched movies about Jesus. Sounds like the documentary on the Vatican was good!
Our Easter was beautiful.....church in the EARLY morning yesterday at 6am...then having breakfast in church with the other people, then visiting with grandma and gramp.....then home to eat and chill and later on spend the day with my bro and his fam....the weather was fab.....today, it is still Easter D we did an excursion to old an old castle and a musum with Kandice....so it was really nice....the best was yesterday at 5:45am while walking to church......Kandice turned around to me and said ....Momma I am so happy because Jesus woke up!!!
Wonderful day and how sweet of Kandice! Aww... Jesus woke her up. =)
Hubby's doctor appointment went well. He got his levels down and the doctor was happy.
Great news about your husband!

I know just what you mean !! Your kitty is in my prayers and commended to St. Francis who is the patron of all animals xo

You are such a wonderful friend to animals too, just like CAH !!! I know, my furchildren are just as important to me.....We just got the vet paid off (he lets us make payments thank goodness !) from way back in November but I would do it all again and proabably will if my furkids need it xo

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all had a great day!

We've had a rough weekend here in St. Louis with very severe tornados on Friday night. It hit the airport and shut it down for almost 2 days. There were entire neighborhoods that were completely leveled. A very close friend of mine's house was hit by the tornado and the house is not going to be salvageable. Her 19 year old daughter was home by herself when they got hit and had some injuries, but she is out of the hospital now. They have a friend with a rental property that is with out tenant right now, so thank God they have a place to go and they are all safe and together. God protected so many - there were no fatalities and very few minor injuries - despite this being an EF4 tornado.

I'm just resting up now before heading back to work tomorrow. The new Chick-fil-A is still going WAY above projected sales right now and so I'm working like crazy. I've got to get some people hired so that I can slow down to a 50 hour week instead of the 87 hours I did last week. I don't think I can keep that up for long!

Good news is, tomorrow is Rudy day and I'll find a way to fit in some Christmas spirit and hopefully that will keep me energized. 245 days till Christmas!

~Laney

I am glad to hear your friends are okay.

Yesterday was nice. My job was closed on Easter but Wayne and I only went there to feed all the animals. It took about 45 minutes.

Then headed to church for their Easter service. My son, daughter, son-in-law, 3 grandkids, my next door neighbor and her mother met us up there. Right after the service they had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. My 1 and half year old granddaughter is new to it and only found three eggs. A nice little boy came up to her and gave her a bunch of his eggs. How sweet!

We then went to Souper Salad for lunch. After that, a totally lazy day laying in bed watching movies all day about Jesus until we fell asleep.

What a great day!

Sounds like a great day, glad you enjoyed it!

Good morning!

Mouse is sticking to me like glue - on my lap as I type this. Yesterday while I was putting fringe on an afghan I finished crocheting for my autistic cousin she kept getting in the middle of my yarn. Very playful she was - she is going to be fifteen in a month so I love seeing her act that way!

I found some VHS tapes that are labeled Christmas movies. I have no idea what is on them, but I am going to watch one of them today.

I hope everyone has a Happy Rudolph Day!!!!!!!!

:rudolph:

Sounds like a great day of watching mystery Christmas tapes.

Coach- It looks like another line of strong storms are headed your way. Stay Safe Friend!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Swine-esque. That's a good one!

(After re-reading my last line, I need to clear up the meaning. I didn't mean..well, you know what I meant.

You almost clucked that one up! cheesy

Good Monday morning! It is a sunny warm day just as it has been for the last 25 days in a row and like it probably will be the next 25 days in a row. I set up an irrigation to my garden over the weekend because it is much too dry it is amazing how South Ga misses out on all the rain,it goes right over us each and every time! same with the snow in winter(grrr). My best friend since 9th grade that lives in TN is coming down next thursday and staying until the next sunday...and I am looking forward to the visit very much. Although we don't talk every day and we have moved in different directions in our lives we still visit once or twice a year. wow it has been 4 months since Christmas! in a way that is scary how fast it seems to be passing but in some ways the holidays seems like a very distant memory especially since the weather has turned so warm.Have a good monday everyone!

Thats great you keep in touch and get together with a friend from high school, I have lost touch with all my high school friends years ago.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Sunny, breezy, and somewhat cloudy in parts of the sky here in northern California. Hubby and I watched a History Channel show on the Vatican last night. It was so interesting. Today we are going to Chico for hubby's visit with his appt for diabetes. He gets his levels checked every so often. Tomorrow I go in early for an MRI where they will put me to "sleep" or at least send me to lala land. I am extremely claustrophic and the MRI is not open so I need all the help I can get. Dinner is in the crockpot: stew beef, onions, beef shank, potatoes, barley, corn, carrots, and broth. I love coming home to a cooked meal. I hope y'all have a great day!

Your dinners always sound so yummy! Hope your hubby's appt went well.

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It has been a busy couple of days and I have alot of catching up to do. You guys have been busy. My plan for this evening to spend a few minutes trying to catch up here and then I am going to kick back and enjoy the premiere of the new season of American chopper. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
