Do you have a picture? Also, do you have a picture of the reverse SC? I am trying to imagine it. I love to do ripple stitch. I did a clam shell baby afghan that turned out great. Have you ever thought of donating the smaller afghans to a Veteran's Home or old folks home. Many of the residents there in wheel chairs like to use them as "lap robes."

Scrap afghans are wonderful, and fun to work on. Except that when you use up your stash, you have to make a few projects before you have enough leftovers to make another scrap afghan!

I'm working on a "film afghan" now. It looks like three strips of movie film side by side (with real sprocket holes), with solid color in between and around the strips. There's a round that looks like marquee lights before the border. It's a pattern I devised---I think I've made 15 or 16 of 'em as gifts and auction items.

Just in time for my B-Day. I wouldn't mind a Mexican blend coffee with cinnamon. I tell my students that Mexicans celebrate Cinco de Mayo because it is my birthday. I also tell them to go home and ask their parents! They love it that it's my birthday, but they say their parents didn't know it, that it had to do with a victory at Guadalupe Hidalgo.

I have dreamed of moving to Barrow, Alaska where the warmest day this week is going to be 22 degrees. I don't know If I could take months of darkness though.

It started here at about 2am. We got heavy rain and lighting but nothing to bad. It looks like the storms this afternoon will be pretty heavy to but nothing compared to what your getting down there.

The race this weekend is a saturday night race at richmond. I just checked the weather to and it looks good.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is another cloudy day here with storms once again predicted for this afternoon. We are currently at 5 times our normal amount of rain for april with storms still predicted for everyday expect friday. My plan for today is to get ssome cleaning and laundry done. I also need to run to the grocery store before the sales go off tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sitting here listening to my recorded Music Choice Christmas music, just needed something Christmasy on it instantly relaxed me listening to Winter Wonderland when it is 70 something degrees outside. I still have a few things saved from Christmas on the DVR, my wife has asked me when are you going to erase it, I tell her I'm not, I need inspiration for that future store, gotta keep the eyes on the prize. She just rolls her eyes at me and laughs and calls me obsessed. I guess I am a little, but there are a lot more things to be obsessed over that are worse than Christmas and the feeling it brings. Thanks to all who have said happy anniversary to myself and the mrs, 9 years is longer than my parents made it, and we have been together for a total of 11 all together. Working tonight so no going out for the big day, and no watching the game, inventory is one of my biggest responsibilities and I can't miss it, we will have to have a date very soon to celebrate.

Nothing wrong with being obsessed with the Christmas feeling. In fact, I think most of us here are real Christmas addicts.

No rain predicted here today but it sure is cloudy and cool out.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny and cool, here in northern California. I have on a sweatshirt with a t-shirt under it. I am sitting here, dozing off and on, and drinking a cup of Kona blend. I plan to help hubby put in the freon lines for the airconditioner at his mom's.
