I handed in my thesis today i can't tell you how relieved and glad i feel! now keep my fingers crossed my teachers will read it soon and even better will love it

I forgot to tell you guys my Mom found me 2 blow molds at a yard sale last weekend. The one is a snowman and the other is a winnie the pooh with a santa hat on... she got them for $4 total. They stand about 3 ft tall.. Im so excited. My Hubby not so much.. we dont have much storage room.. I told him we could put them in our bay window now.. or defintely for Christmas in July cheesy

We just recently adopted a black cat...my 14 year old daughter loves him to death..he is definitely spoiled!!

OOh black cats are amazing they are so beautiful!

My brother and I were born on the 13th and it lands on Friday sometimes so I like to believe it's a lucky day!

I think anything will bring luck as long as you believe in it (probably since you feel more confident whenever you believe in it!) I happen to have a pair of lucky socks

so this guy at work tells me he has stuff for ingrown toenails but it would work on my fingers...well it burned the living heck out of my fingers right now i can barely type!

Au! that sounds so painful! hope it feels better soon!

Really closing in now on that 1/2 Milestone to the Season.

Clarification: I do not personally recommend/condone the Baconalia dishes at Denny's! Only meant to say that those who ARE bacon maniacs would kick themselves if they miss it!

However, I can personally recommend an occasional peanut butter and bacon on toast ... taken in moderation, it won't hurt you ...

The 13th is a good luck # in my family both my Brother and I are born on the 13th... and I love black cats so maybe it will bring you good luck today!

On lunch break right now...I have a bad habit of biting my fingernails especially under stress. Biting my finernails is a terrible habit I can't quit. Mine are constantly bleeding, too. If I could catch myself doing it, I think I could quit it, but it's all unconscious habit.

The excursion to the "fun park" is finally over. Whew. That place just tries to get the kids to play games to win tickets, which can be redeemed for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP prizes. Elizabeth spent $20 on games and came away with a rubber ball and a couple plastic fish. Those guys may as well be printing $$ in the back room...LOL!

I just got home and sprayed the inside and outside of my home with ant spray from Home Depot. Last year I had ants that literally got into everything in the kitchen. This spray is suppose to last 1 year and is the same stuff Orkin pest control uses. The dryer it gets here the more ants you see outside,and it is so dry here it is just a matter of time before I get a nice little surprise when I get up and drink my coffee and open the sugar!!! it is terribly hot here mid 90's Humid and just misrable for this early in spring/summer. today was the last day of county schools the city schools go until next thursday though. My gf just has 3 more post planning days then she will be out until late july or early august. She found out next semester she will be teaching seniors which she wanted to because 9th grade was horrible for a first year teacher.And these are the alleged "smart gifted" kids!! I hope everyone has made it through this friday 13th doing good!!

we are now having a sudden down pour with some thunder and lightening. It has been getting quite muggy before this started, our first muggy day of the season. cheesy
It is nice to listen to the rain come down, reminds me that camping will start soon!

If you still have any problems, this stuff really works! We sell this at our feed store. I had an issue with ants in my kitchen at one time. When I put one of these baits out I noticed a WHOLE BUNCH more ants came out and all over this bait. You don't want to kill them, you let them eat this stuff because they take it back to their home and feed it to others. By the next day they were all gone and I didn't see anymore! I have even recommended customers to place these out along with spraying.

Thanks CAH I will look for that the next time I go. Last year I got this white powder stuff from the home depot that I heard really worked,it smelled like sulfer and it so expensive too,I forget the name of it,but It worked and killed all the ants on a bed,but then the next day you would still find another bed 5 feet away.lol gosh those ants know how to survive don't they! I am hoping the stuff I used today will help. last year they got all in my cabinets while I was away on vacation,it was a nightmare as I had to throw alot of food and cereals...

Isn't it funny how your interests change throughout your life. There was a time and not too long ago that on a friday afternoon I was just getting started..My idea of a great weekend was going out and staying out all the time. Now that I have entered my mid 30's my idea of a good friday night is eating dinner in and watching some tv before turning into bed!! yep I am turning into my parents right before my eyes!

I totally agree !!! I LOVE BLACK CATS !!!!........I may even be adopting another one soon !!!!!!

I would send the one that was on my porch over to you but I think my neighbor might get a little bit mad. I will admit that I have never been much of a cat person and my nieces and Brother in law are allergic to them so no one in the family has one.

My divorce came through on Friday May 13th (not this year!) and black cats are considered good luck in Britain.
