Well...I seem to be right on track! Although I love and dream about Christmas all year long...this time every year I REALY start to get excited!!! Certain scents - and memories about Christmas - and thinking about Christmas decorations...well - it all xcomes over me in a majour way!!! Yup...listening Christmas music regularly around this time happens too!

I love that I can now view MMC so well on my BlackBerry! That way I'll be able to view and post more often (and its easier too)!

The good news is that the water in the basement seems to have gone down a bit from yesterday - it certainly isn't high enough to pump. I'm hoping it will keep going down as there is rain in the forecast in the upcoming days.

I was talking to my mom back in Maryland over the weekend and she told me that my aunt (her younger sister) is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I asked her if they have treatments for it yet, but she said all they can do is slow it down, can't really do anything about it. I would like to ask for prayers for her (my aunt's name is Phyllis). I know my mom is very upset, she said "this is my baby sister!" I know this will be rough on her.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went to upper school honors night last night. Our son is in 7th grade, so I don't know why they consider that "upper school", but they do. So after they did 7th grade awards (he got several!), we had to sit through another TWO HOURS of the other grades, mostly focusing on scholarships for the seniors. I can appreciate the desire to honor the seniors, but why are 7th and 8th graders in there? They don't even know the seniors. We need to divide 6th, 7th and 8th into a "middle school" section. But, that's just me. LOL

Other than that, it's still cool down here, lower 70's for the last couple days, but they say the hot weather is coming back.

My knee hurts if I hit it against something (like I did with the car door last week). I will be seeing the orthopedic surgeon in early June. I will soon be the Bionic Woman with so many repairs.

Ouch!!! I hope you can get it over with soon.

I had to laugh when I read another TWO HOURS of the other grades. It reminded me of The Simpsons Christmas (1st year episode). Homer and Marge are at Bart and Lisa's Christmas program they start from the 1st grade on up. Then leads up to this:
