I have everything mixed together..all I have to do is brown the meat and put it in the cooker.So I can sleep until normal time in the morning. I hope tonight we can get some sleep..Goodnight everyone!

Hello Christmas Friends!
Checking in on you all. Hope everyone is fine and dandy. I am still waiting for spring around here. I am so anxious to plant something and sooner than later would be nice. Works going well for me and my d/d has about 10 days or so of school left. Plan to do some shopping tomorrow (today). I need a few new planter boxes. Has anyone seen the ceramic tea cup and saucers (in the garden section) they have at Walmart? I am thinking of getting one to plant flowers in. They are soooo cute! I hope you all are doing well. Getting ready to walk out in the door in a few minutes for work. I have a review I had forgotten about and it's of course before work at 7!!.I ended up sleeping good after a very rocky start last night. In fact I fell asleep sitting up in the lazyboy before I went back upstairs and that never happens. I just put my chilli on and when brandi comes home from her half day of post school planning at 2 she can cut it off.Then at 4 we have the Dr appt! It is 50F outside right now which feels great and even fall like. I hope everyone has a great tuesday!

Days to Christmas Day: 222
Three weeks from tomorrow -- the 200-day Window to Christmas Day.
Calm and still here in the capital city this morning where we are up to 62 degrees already.
Two more days of likely rain before we get a break.
(At least there are no more drought problems!)

My Christmas journal is coming on lovely. I am working from home today and have decided to have a quick flick through my old Christmas Good Food Magazines. Have selected a few fantastic recipes that have been added and my address are about to be updated!
Busy week ahead with all the kids activities which starts tonight, and my husband is away in Sweden all week. My 5 year old is trying out for a cheerleading team that my 11 year old is currently in. They have a teenies group which is great fun and she is so excited.

I hope everyone had a great night!!!
Very noisy night so that means I only got a few hours of sleep total. The good news is that the water in the basement seems to have gone down a bit from yesterday - it certainly isn't high enough to pump. I'm hoping it will keep going down as there is rain in the forecast in the upcoming days.
There are a lot of blossoms on the fruit trees - apples, pears, and peaches. If it doesn't get too cold out, we could have a fairly decent harvest this year. Last year most of the trees got frosted out and the pears that survived were too high for me to pick.

I love this time of year when all the trees are blossoming, looking forward to all those fresh picked fruits!!
made me think I should get out my journal and check it. I have added some gifts to my box but cannot remember if I wrote them down.

my kids watch it (I call them "kids" but they are all over 20 now) any way, they seem to enjoy the show. She will come up and tell me about it , but I have to admit I really don't pay attention, which would explain the glazed over eyes when she talks about it to long. LOL

Oh, I feel for her. Poor thing. I use to get so sick too, you would think they can FINALLY come up with something safe to take to calm morning sickness down. Ha! Morning? Like you said, more like all day and night!

That made me laugh out loud! My 21 year old son is in college for computer tech and sometimes he goes on and on about computer stuff and I get that "glazed" eye look as well. I don't have a clue what he is talking about! I know quite a bit about computers but not in depth like he is learning. I really try to listen but I get a little lost. cheesy
you keep talking about all this great food you are cooking while she is throwing up. How about just getting her a big box of crackers for her and you then going out to eat so the smell of all this food will not get her even more nauseated. cheesy I remember not being able to even stand the smell of coffee brewing in the morning. (this was before coffee shops became popular, so he had no were else to get his coffee, plus living in a very small northern town made the choices even less abundant, this could be why I do not like coffee now)
Anyway, with all the kids out with their dad for the next two weeks, I felt the urge to lecture someone! Thanks for filling in for them cheesy

I too am wanting to work in the garden but it has been so wet and chilly here it has not been possible.
Well...I seem to be right on track! Although I love and dream about Christmas all year long...this time every year I REALY start to get excited!!! Certain scents - and memories about Christmas - and thinking about Christmas decorations...well - it all xcomes over me in a majour way!!! Yup...listening Christmas music regularly around this time happens too!
I love that I can now view MMC so well on my BlackBerry! That way I'll be able to view and post more often (and its easier too)!
