Uh oh. Somebody overslept. Was supposed to be a busy day, but it can wait. I'm not going stress over it. Hope you all have a great Friday!

Two more Fridays and then I will be like that old Alice Cooper song....Schools Out For Summer!!!!

Ahhhh yes...its Friday! Almost the weekend...almost time to visit with my son, DIL and GD (tomorrow)...almost time to clean up my garden (this weekend)...and one more day closer to what we love in our hearts - Christmas!!! Well...I'm also looking forward to the months leading up to Christmas. Its all so very ecxiting!!!

Yes...going to visit my son, daughter-in-law (DIL) and granddaughter (GD) early tomorrow morning. This is at the special request of my GD. When she said "I want you to come and see me Grammie"...well - my heart melted.

On my way into the office now - but before you know it, the work day will be done and the long weekend will start!

Good Morning, my Wonderful Wacky Weekend Eve Friends.

Yes, Folks. We have again arrived at the doorstep of another weekend.
(And not too far from the doorstep of a double-100's count figure)
Days to the Season: 177
Days to Christmas Day: 219
Down to just 19 days until the 200-day Window to Christmas.
(Won't things tend to pick up speed then!)

Well, despite low precipitaton chance predictions, it has been raining here in the capital city this morning.
It's quite overcast but hopefully this will be a short event and sunny skies will return for this afternoon.
We stand currently at 63 degrees.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Everyone.
I feel confident a Wonderous Weekend is in store!

I know what you mean. On days like that I just have to remind myself that one day my parents will be gone and I will wish I could re-live a day with them.

My wife and I find it especially tough watching our parents grow old and becoming more dependent on us while our son grows up and need us less.

it has been raining here too, but this morning I woke to blue skies and a thing called sunshine! It is so nice, my cats are really enjoying it.

The doctor thinks he has started having seizures. When an old dog starts having seizures it is usually not a real good sign. He is on Phenobarbital and I am hoping and praying that he will have a few more good years.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is a warm and sunny morning here in central Indy. I'm not liking it to much but I'm sure everyone out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is loving it. They haven't been able to get much practice in for the Indy 500 this week because of the rain and colder temps but they should be good today and for qualifying this weekend. I think mom has volunteered us to babysit all weekend so my plan for today is to enjoy the peace the quiet. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
