Good evening,

Long day here again, I now have a sore throat, LC is still a little feverish, if he still isn't well in the A.M. I will be staying home with him. I had my favorite grinder for dinner called a Philadelphia Phil, it is meatballs, italian sausage, pepperoni, spicy marinara, peppers and provolone cheese. So much flavor, so good. Grinders are what we call subs in my area, my bro-in-law from NJ never heard of that before he started dating my sister. I need to get some shut eye, it may be a long day with a sick boy tomorrow.

CAH I hope the tornado warnings go away so you can get to bed.

Have a good night!

Hello Christmas friends!

All of you who are in tornado watch/warning/affected areas - PLEASE STAY SAFE. I am thinking about all of you and sincerely hope you are all okay.

Today was a pretty great day! After getting off work, Travis and I took his dog for a really long walk...it was so nice and warm (albeit a bit humid...judesmama and MsChristmas live somewhat around my area and I think they know what I'm talking about!). When we got back, we found a turtle in the driveway (that the dog instantly started batting around), so we put it in a box and brought it inside. We were going to give it to a friend that has a pond, but he ended up not wanting it, so we re-released it outside. Not before my dear cat Sangria batted it around for a little bit, then inexplicably ran away from it. She's so weird sometimes but I love it!

We then went to two flower places to buy more plants to put outside. Between yesterday and today, we bought a tomato plant, 2 Captain Kirk hostas (we are such sci fi nerds, not being able to pass up a plant named Captain Kirk!!), a hot pink peony, and black petunias. There's still gonna be some space around the house, but we're replanting some mums he has randomly spaced around outside, and then plant some tulip bulbs in the fall in the empty spaces so they bloom in the spring. Can anyone here who has a green thumb/some planting experience tell me if that sounds like a good idea?

The rest of tonight was spent watching the American Idol and Dancing with the Stars finales. I'm rooting for Lauren in AI and for Hines in DWTS!

Hope everyone has a great night and a fantastic hump day tomorrow! :)

Thinking of all of you in the way of storms. We only have to worry about earthquakes here. And where we live, those are not really a problem. Sometimes, though, the wind storms are pretty bad. They are steady when they come; no touching down and going on to great damage. Take care, all of you!!!

We are still under a tornado warning but it got really scary for awhile. The sirens went off, lights flickering and very dark clouds. I put my dogs inside a baby playpen, my cats in their carriers and placed them in the center part of the house. I also put our bike helmets in the hallway to wear to protect our heads if we need them. May sound silly but I always do that when it gets serious, you got to protect your head! I then woke up my son and told him to be ready just in case.

If anyone was watching the Rangers game they had to evacuate them to the bottom level. The ballpark is west of us about 30 minutes away from where we live.

Well great! As I type this they said another tornado just touched down directly south of us. I hope no one is hurt.

I want to go to sleep!!! I better go and keep a watch out.

Living out west I cannot tell you how much the images, videos and posts of information just like this have affected me. How terrifying!

Please do all you can to stay safe, alert and aware of what's going on in those nasty skies above you.

Jeff

Ok, scary stuff. Our cable just flipped off all channels and taken over with a tornado warning. I only seen that happen one other time. I can't even change the channel, just can only view the warning. I better watch the skies.

I had some friends over tonight so I haven't been on until now. I did have the weather channel on and it looks like it got pretty bad down that way. You and SIT have been in my thoughts and prayers all night.

Good afternoon folks, it has been a while since i have talked. So just setting around the house watching X-Mas Cartoons on the DVR and wishing it was a lot cooler outside then it actually is.

Welcome Back!!!!!!!!

Well it's almost 2am and the battery on the laptop is almost dead. So I am off to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

We got hammered yesterday with a storm right out of a movie... I saw a house in the air turning around and when it landed, it woke up Crown!

YABBA!

..... I saw a house in the air turning around and when it landed, it woke up Crown!.....
At least I got a gorgeous pair of ruby slippers out of it.
But can I wear them? (The gender mystery continues.)

Good Morning!
Rise, shine and watch out for falling cof......I mean houses.

Nice outside! We stand at 70 degrees under clear and calm skies.
It was 91 yesterday, is supposed to be 93 today and the prediction for tomorrow is 94. Way too hot for May!
(Wonder what July and August will be like?)

To the mid-week count, before we dot another "i":
Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214
The 200-day Window to Christmas opens two weeks from today!
And Carl is planning a special open house in honor of that marker since it falls on a Wednesday. Stay tuned!

You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
And a Vivacious Visit to the Shispering Pines today!

Thanks for everyone's concern. We made it through just fine but some areas did get hit. Not sure of how bad the damage is yet because I have not turned on the news but as of last night it was minor.

That storm got my heart pounding more than any other that has hit in the past. Especially when the weatherman said there is rotation heading up a road nearby just east of the lake. I live in that location!

Now we are just expecting hot (90's) sunny weather for the rest of the week. Blah! cheesy

Afternoon/Morning!

Am thinking of all of you who have terrible weather at the moment - take care of yourselves we are all thinking of you and sending prayers x

Take care of that bug, and I hope you get rid of it soon. Memorial Day weekend is coming!

Kinda like the way a milk shake anywhere else is a "frappe" in Massachusetts (unless you go to a national chain like Dairy Queen), and nobody outside of Frederick County, MD ever heard of a "kinkling."

what up fellas, gon be doing something for my figure now and cut the lawn...not my favorite thing to do....but u gotta do what u gotta do
