Good afternoon, Christmas Family !!

TGIF !!! I finished up this morning so I am off until Sunday night (and I DONT WORK EITHER cheesycheesy!!)

I am really tired but since I don't work tonight for some reason the tiredness does not seem so bad......

As a report on Wishbone....He is doing just great so far !!! Thank God !! And Thank you all for your prayers.......So hard to see them get old......

Not a whole lot planned for tonight.......My WONDERFUL sister got a copy of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part I for me so I am going to watch that tonight.....Gotta get ready for the finale in July !!!!

Have a great afternoon, Christmas Family !!

Isn't the little polar bear in my signature Christmasstar sent me wonderful !!!!!!!! I just love him !!! xo

I had to laugh this morning at breakfast...I asked my 4 1/2 year old Son what kind of Birthday theme we should do for his little Brother ... who will be 2 years old in August... he said Frosty the Snowman.. he knows his little Brother LOVES Frosty.. I think its a cute idea but not sure about it since his Birthday is in August..what do you guys think? Also not sure if I could find anything Frosty themed plates, decorations etc.. but was thinking I could probably find some stuff with snowflakes on it and we have a friend who makes cakes so Im sure she would be able to design a Frosty cake!

I think it's a great idea, ESPECIALLY in August when folks are feeling too much heat! If you can't find Frosty-themed plates and cups, get white plates, and paint snowflakes on blue cups with metallic Sharpies. MerryBells' suggestion about making snowmen out of scoops of ice cream is great, too---Friendly's does a kid's sundae like that, and they include a little cup of M&Ms for eyes and buttons, and pretzel sticks for arms so kids can "build" their own snowman.

Louann.....I just saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood-Prince on Tuesday....so I need to be watching this one, too before the latest comes to the cinema

I just saw a story on the news about a dog that was blown away several miles in one of these tornados. He found his way home, and made it there on two broken legs! Bless his heart! I bet he gets some much-deserved TLC now, huh?

I'm going to the store to get a sausage dog, then it's back to work on the deck.
Well, you killed the "awwww" moment when you followed up with you going to get a sausage "dog" to eat.

Seriously though, moving story about the dog. Shows that dogs are very devoted to their owners. I sure hope the dog will be ok.

For all of you who are suffering from heat...its time to put your imagination to work! Just think about everything Christmas! Sometimes I'll go back to the videos I made at Christmas time and it takes me right back...and it puts a smile on my face on on my (Christmas) heart!
The heat is actually why my Christmas spirit just soars! I want to think of chilly thoughts! Like Christmasstar mentioned how we complain of heat but need to be thankful we are not suffering from dangerous weather like tornados.

We are potty training the youngest at the moment and its tough! She is so independent and wont accept any help from us, but she is doing really well and was completely dry yesterday and demanded biscuits as a reward! she's not backwards in coming forwards!
She sounds like she will be an independant successful person when she grows up! =)

I'm great, great news again:

I just got my grade for my thesis! and I got a 7 (that's kind of like a B I guess) I am so totally excited, this means I graduated all courses for my BA degree

Congratulations!

I say go for it! In fact I want to be invited to that party. He he!

My mouth still hurts and I am getting a cold!
I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I am so happy to hear. It worries me so much when animals are sick. =(

I was thinking the same thing, too, CAH, when I read his post this morning. I really needed a laugh!

Well, you killed the "awwww" moment when you followed up with you going to get a sausage "dog" to eat.

Good afternoon, everyone. It is quite breezy here today. Kids were in a fine state all day! Next year, the powers that be are not going to replace one of the third grade teachers and one of the second grade teachers, so our class sizes will be really large! I love it when the admin is so thoughtful like that. NOT! I think we have run out of brains in the admin departments. We have a great prize coming up for poster 11,200. I know all of y'all would like to have it. I think, though, that the prize for 11,300 will be the best one yet! Just wait and see!!!!!!!!!!

See Jeff Conaway just died (Taxi, Kenickie in Grease)

Sad :-(

Wow!!! not to surprised since he has not been doing good the last few years. But hope now that he is going he can finally get the happiness and peace once again.

RIP Jeff

Welcome back to you, its nice to see i was not the only one that made a return to the site this week.

I'm soooooooooo tired tonight, Christmas friends! I don't have any energy - so I will have to try to catch up on the posts over the weekend.

Tonight...I sleep!

The family is coming over tomorrow for a Family Day BBQ! I cannot wait for that!

Anyway...gonna wish you all a very merry night cheesy

Good evening, everyone!

What? Brent is online? Who is that guy? I know. I know. I disappeared for quite some time. I will apologize for that. My reasons? Well, I don't really have any. To be completely honest, I think I have some form of anxiety of returning somewhere that I have not been for a week or so. It's strange. More so, when things get busy, I tend to have to stray away from one thing, too.... Consequently, that led me to having no time for MMC. Hope that makes sense. Again, I apologize. I love the Season. I love this place. I love the people.

I am back, again. In my news? Well, I graduate from teachers college in about a week and a half. I completed my course at the end of April. Since then, I have been hanging out at home - unemployed - or volunteering at my final placement (a Grade 7 Math and English class). My associate teacher was fantastic and I definitely owe her a ton! Plus, the kids are (mostly) great, too!

Well, I hope all is well with everyone else. I look forward to being on here as much as possible for the next 6 and a half months until Christmas as well as 7 months of the year. Could it be that close already?! Wowzers!

I missed you all and I am glad to be back!!! All the best to each and every one of you!!

Brent

wow what a day ive had!,its now 12.45 am here and me and a few pals are heading off to london in the next 5 minutes,we have just bagged some tickets to the champions league final between man utd and barcelona(soccer),basically its like your superbowl but 10 times better,it has come at a cost thou, tickets cost £550 each from a private seller!,we thought why not as its a once in a lifetime chance to get hands on such tickets,we are just going to leave now and should get to london by around 3.30am and we are going to hit some clubs until the early hours and then get some sleep and then start making our way to the match, hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Morning All,

It hasn't rained yet today which is a good start as we are heading off for a Bank holiday camping trip when the children finish school. I have my fingers firmly crossed that it stays dry so we can at least get the tent up!

Just been checking through the TV listings and we have a Home Alone movie on every Sunday for the next 4 weeks. I've sky+'d them so we can keep watching.

This is the first year I haven't bought any gift wrap in the sales and I have a stack of gifts I'd like to wrap but will have to wait till September to buy any. Oh well - that will teach me!

We are potty training the youngest at the moment and its tough! She is so independent and wont accept any help from us, but she is doing really well and was completely dry yesterday and demanded biscuits as a reward! she's not backwards in coming forwards!

I need to go load the car - take care ya'll speak to you again Monday!

Jingle Bells all the way!

Naomi:snowball:

My youngest is potty training right now to, he is doing very well, I think he is more interested in seeing public restrooms, than actually going. I try to tell myself be patient he's learning. cheesy
