My niece is the exact opposite. She is afraid to go to the bathroom in public restrooms.

And with this post, Made, who is another year older, is poster #11,200. His prize is a pair of plastic inserts that come with a new pair of shoes--I guess it's to hold their shape while they are in the box. This is such a great prize because they look like real shoes only clear plastic. I bet you could decorate them in a Christmas theme!!!

Good evening! I'm sooo tired but my honey is out at band practice and I have trouble falling asleep without him here... will I make it until 11? Only time will tell! And nothing good on tv! Bah! Maybe a bad, taped Lifetime Christmas movie will have to do...

What is everyone up to?
 
I am about ready to call it a night and watch some TV. For some reason, I am pretty tired.

Well, it's a Friday night, Netflix is on, coffee is hot, three day weekend, payday was today, wife cooked a good supper, and I'm on the laptop in my chair reading the boards.....

Can life get any better?

I am back, again. In my news? Well, I graduate from teachers college in about a week and a half. I completed my course at the end of April. Since then, I have been hanging out at home - unemployed - or volunteering at my final placement (a Grade 7 Math and English class). My associate teacher was fantastic and I definitely owe her a ton! Plus, the kids are (mostly) great, too!

Well, I hope all is well with everyone else. I look forward to being on here as much as possible for the next 6 and a half months until Christmas as well as 7 months of the year. Could it be that close already?! Wowzers!

I missed you all and I am glad to be back!!! All the best to each and every one of you!!

Here's another one that's tired this evening ... office closed early at 1 p.m., and I've been busy ever since with one thing and another, then we put in our window air conditioners, because it has started getting to warm and humid to sleep comfortably. Tomorrow morning it's up to the North Shore for an appointment, then back home to change before going to a birthday dinner for my FIL. I'm glad it's a three-day weekend for us so I have a good chance of fitting in some relaxation!

Yesterday we had a "spring cleaning day" at the office. Then they had a random drawing---the names that were chosen got to pick out one of the "retired" computers. I drew a G5 Mac that runs OS X 10.5, with a monitor. (I won an old iMac a few years ago, so I already had a mouse and keyboard.) I got it up and running after work yesterday. It's offline and a bit outdated, but I can take files to it on a thumb drive and work on things there when Mr. is busy at the newest Mac. I can take files to it on a thumb drive.

I haven't been able to keep track of everyone today, but welcome back to Brent; CM3, I'm glad to hear that Wishbone is better; Seawaters, I hope your mouth is more comfortable soon; xmas365, I hope the Bruins win for you; and yes, I miss gabulldawg too. And to everyone, good evening, sweet dreams, and hope you have a great weekend!

I am so pumped from one heck of a hockey game tonight, I need to be up early for work, but I need to wind down. There will be a lot of happy people at work tomorrow as Bruins fans have been coming out of the woodwork the last few weeks, hey there is plenty of room on the bandwagon. I don't know how close you are to Boston MerryCarey, but WBZ was showing a lot of people out on the streets, probably nothing like 2004 with the Sox, but it only takes a few idiots to turn a good night into a bad night.

One more day of work and I have a scheduled 3 days off in a row.
