Good evening! I hate that I've been away for a couple weeks again! Time just goes so fast!

Made - we have the same weather. On my way home from the store tonight my car said 99º! Wew!

Jeff...sorry to hear about your foot. I hope to never find out how painful that is. I've heard/seen horror stories!! Hope it's better soon!

Seawaters - have a great trip!

Brent - congratulations on your graduation!

Track - good luck with your interview!
Gosh, there is a lot going on around here!!

I ordered & received my 1st Christmas presents last week from Bronners! :) I had to order nativity pieces for my Goddaughter & for my hubby's brand new Goddaughter (I get them the Fontanini nativity scene - 1 new piece at every birthday so when they move out of the house someday, they will have a full nativity scene) so while I was ordering I ordered 2011 ornaments for my other Goddaughters and a Baby's 1st Christmas for my hubby's new Goddaughter! So fun!!! The baby's 1st Christmas ornament turned out SO cute!!!! And I got 2 free ornaments too!

I hope you are all doing well!! Have a great night!

Good luck Tanja xx

Well, I'm sitting here, trying not to be too "motherly" as Bruce packs to fly to Philadelphia tomorrow for 3 months. On one hand, it's 23.40 hours, the case still has stuff in it from when he came home 3 weeks ago from college and he's just - literally within the last hour - asked what time the doctors opens tomorrow because seemingly he has to have a medical!!!!!!!!!! If he doesn't arrive with a completed form signed by the Dr saying he's healthy, they'll organise one for him there (which he'll have to pay for, won't he??) and will possibly not get his end of season bonus. We leave for the airport at 8am. Not a lot of wriggle room......okay, NO wriggle room!

On the other hand, he is training to be an elementary school teacher, he's considered an adult in the eyes of the law and really is big enough and ugly enough to deal with packing and paperwork etc. himself without help from me. Oh, and I've also just found out that he's got to apply for this year's college loan before he goes too - 8 hours and counting

I'm sure gonna miss him :-(

oh mo!!!!!! he's a man, what did you expect!!! cheesy

is it mum to the rescue? are you going up to help him pack and sort his college paperwork out? you are, aren't you?

on the brightside, it's approximately 140 days until starbucks and costa launch their 2011 christmas drinks, be here before we know it! (oh, and bruce will be back safe and sound before we know it also so you won't have to miss him for long)

Well, I was feeling better until I got up to go into the kitchen. I realized that my back and chest were killing me. Then I had a coughing fit again and decided that I could not go with hubby. I went to school and then left at lunchtime to go back to the doctor. They did more xrays and found two broken ribs, #4 and #5. No wonder it was killer to cough!

I hope you have a good time!!!!!! I'm glad to hear that you are starting to feel better!!!!

I hope it clears up quick for you!!!!! I get it in my right big toe and my knee if I eat red meat more than 2 days in a row. The first time I had an attack I couldn't sleep for days because I couldn't stand the cover touching my foot. I agree with the 100 percent cherry juice suggestion. It always seems to help clear mine up.

I will try it. I wouldn't recommend this pain to anyone. This could finally be the trigger to the lifestyle change I've been putting. I won't live without red meat entirely -- in fact, I cut way back on it already this year.

But I'll do just about anything to avoid this from happening again.

You sound just like a Mom to me....

Good luck Tanja xx

Yikes! That hurts too...even to breathe.

Breathe slowly. Be glad you're at sea level.

Good evening!

Seawaters, I hope the ribs heal quick and that your voice continues to improve.

Jeff, I hope you do not have another attack of gout.

Tanja, good luck on the interview tomorrow.

Brent, congratulations on your upcoming graduation.

xmas, glad the Bruins won one - hope your smile returns.

I hope I didn't miss anyone - long day again. Helped my cousin deal with paperwork and phone calls to Social Security and Medicaid offices. Each place told her that the other place was where she should call for the info she needed. I think we finally got it all sorted out - now the waiting begins.

It was very hot out, but I didn't mind it too much as I was hanging out in the air conditioning - I don't even use a fan at home. Got home and it wasn't bad in the house temperature-wise as it was only 83. Keeping the curtains, mini blinds, and windows closed kept the heat out cheesy Tomorrow it is supposed to be hot, too. We are going to drop almost 30 degrees the two days after - like the cooler weather, but it is getting rough on the allergies with all the ups and downs in the temps.

I still need to get some work in today. Hopefully it will go by quick!

Good night and pleasant dreams!!!!!!!!!!!

ouch...praying you heal quickly.

Brent, congrats on the graduation! That's great!

Man, I wish it was October....how I would love a Pumpkin Spice Latte...I can almost taste it now....mmmmmm!

I got some stronger medication, so I am going to take some and veg out. It is killing me to cough. This is so weird. Thanks for all your well wishes.

my brother had an attack in his ankles, could not walk for a few days and talked about how much it hurt, so it must have been really bad because he never complains about anything!
The cherry juice was recommended to him as well, it does help.

Ouch ... now THAT's a nasty cough. Mr. is trying to get rid of one, too.

Jeff, I hope that gout lets you alone soon. I've heard that that's a terribly painful ailment.

And the folks who've had the hot, hot weather---we're supposed to join you for the next few days.

Wowzer - what a day! Started at 3:10am-ish when I was woken up by a 4.2 magnitude earthquake that was centered about 50 miles outside of St. Louis. It doesn't happen too often around here - I think the last one was 3 years ago that was actually noticeable. There was no damage here in the area, just people that noticed the windows rattling or what not. Just enough to spark some conversation.

Then we had a long, but slow day at work. Just one of those days where I had a list 10 miles long of things to get done, but everyone else and their mom needed the world's problems solved instead. So instead I stayed 3 hours late AND still only got about 1/4th of my list done. Argh, nothing like feeling completely unproductive.

When I finally got to my work, I sat down in the office and turned on some Christmas music on my pandora ap on my phone to help me focus. It really helped calm me down and get me back on track. I love that feeling cheesy One of our newer managers came in the office and he has not heard yet about my love for Christmas. He was a little taken aback at first, but before I knew it, he was humming along to the tunes with me! Hope that I was able to spread a little Christmas cheer today.

So now it is time to decompress and just let today's frustrations melt away and carry on tomorrow with a fresh slate. Those are nice to have sometime and I'm thankful that each day we have that chance!

I know the feeling I had no coffee for 14 minutes and my jumping up and down caused everyone in the city to think it was an 8.5
