Good Morning! Eating breakfast with my Boys.. Im off work today. Suppose to be near 100 degrees :-? ... may take them to the pool for a little bit. Listening to Christmas music currently and watching Dylan (my almost 2 year old) sing and dance haha

Wowzer - what a day! Started at 3:10am-ish when I was woken up by a 4.2 magnitude earthquake that was centered about 50 miles outside of St. Louis. It doesn't happen too often around here - I think the last one was 3 years ago that was actually noticeable. There was no damage here in the area, just people that noticed the windows rattling or what not. Just enough to spark some conversation.
So now it is time to decompress and just let today's frustrations melt away and carry on tomorrow with a fresh slate. Those are nice to have sometime and I'm thankful that each day we have that chance!

I know the feeling I had no coffee for 14 minutes and my jumping up and down caused everyone in the city to think it was an 8.5
HI YA COACH...
YABBA!
I'm so sorry! I hear broken ribs are tough to deal with. I hope you heal up quickly!Well, I was feeling better until I got up to go into the kitchen. I realized that my back and chest were killing me. Then I had a coughing fit again and decided that I could not go with hubby. I went to school and then left at lunchtime to go back to the doctor. They did more xrays and found two broken ribs, #4 and #5. No wonder it was killer to cough!
That's what moms do! lol! Just look at it this way, if you did end up helping him, he will be on his own after he leaves and then he will have to do this on his own from now on. It's ok to be "motherly" knowing he will be away for awhile. I know the frustration all too well and we have to step back and let them do for themselves but it's hard. The joys of being a mom! :wink:Well, I'm sitting here, trying not to be too "motherly" as Bruce packs to fly to Philadelphia tomorrow for 3 months. On one hand, it's 23.40 hours, the case still has stuff in it from when he came home 3 weeks ago from college and he's just - literally within the last hour - asked what time the doctors opens tomorrow because seemingly he has to have a medical!!!!!!!!!! If he doesn't arrive with a completed form signed by the Dr saying he's healthy, they'll organise one for him there (which he'll have to pay for, won't he??) and will possibly not get his end of season bonus. We leave for the airport at 8am. Not a lot of wriggle room......okay, NO wriggle room!
On the other hand, he is training to be an elementary school teacher, he's considered an adult in the eyes of the law and really is big enough and ugly enough to deal with packing and paperwork etc. himself without help from me. Oh, and I've also just found out that he's got to apply for this year's college loan before he goes too - 8 hours and counting

I'm sure gonna miss him :-(
good idea, I think I will get my pasta cooked for a salad too.Good morning!
Going to be another hot one today. I'm cooking my pasta now while it is still somewhat cool in the house and not too hot out to shut the windows. Trying a new recipe, tuna spaghetti, my variation of The Pioneer Woman Cooks chicken spaghetti. Working most of the day.
Have a great day, stay cool and be safe!!!!!!

Congrats, Brent! Have a great grad ceremony!Good afternoon, everyone!
Been real busy! Not much time on here either. Currently, I have laundry and supper going. I have practice tonight at 6:30 and then I need to be on the road afterward. My graduation is tomorrow in North Bay, so I must head back and see everyone one final time. It will be nice to get that sheet of paper, too!
Thanks for bearing the torch, Coach! cheesyMy hands are trembling....my fingers can barely touch the right keys.....
"Why?"
Because I can't believe I'm posting the countdown on a milestone....makes me want coffee (hoping this is a first that the poster of the countdown admits they want to drink coffee)!
Here it is guys, gals, and gender-nuetral friends.....
Days to the Season: 158
Days to Chrismas: 200
Wow! Don't that rounded number look nice. Tomorrow, into the 100's!!
I broke mine back in November while I was playing with my dog too. Ouch!!! It really hurt! It still gets sore from time to time since I broke it.OUCH!! I think I broke my big toe!! I was playing keepaway with our dog, Lulu, last night. I lunged to get the tennis ball from her, but tripped over Elizabeth's beanbag, and I really hurt my toe. Here at work, I have on one tennis shoe and one flipflop. My toe is black & blue and bleeding around the back of the nail. OWOWOW!
Whew.....that amount of emotion can wear a person out! Back to bed for me![/QUOTE]
