I think I am going to head out to the south side of Indy tomorrow morning so I don't know when I'll get a chance to post. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!

I think I would actually cry if got 110 degrees here just so the tears could help cool my face off.:lol:
 
It was a beautiful night here in Ottawa. Summer Solstice has come to an end. Next up, Equinox and then Winter Solstice, which will bring us four days before the greatest day of the year!

Now, it is bed time for me. I have been busy working two part-time jobs. Tomorrow is my day off. Then, I will be back at work on Thursday and Friday. Full-time work begins on Monday. Hooray! It will be nice to finally have a steady income.

Hope everyone has a wonderful sleep!

Rained last night, which is good now I do not have to go out and water my garden.
I am going to check out a TOPS group that my area captain wants me to become the new leader of. It will be exciting, but I will really miss the fabulous ladies from the group I am currently a member of.

Good morning, Christmas family!

We are under a flash flood alert this afternoon - the potential for a lot of rain is out there :( Last night there was the loudest thunderstorm I have ever heard, but I slept on and off through the majority of its crashing. Bo didn't make a peep and Mouse was all right once I calmed her down and turned the mini blind slats to the other direction. There doesn't seem to be any damage outside and the cats are all accounted for at the moment - even all the kittens. Working most of the day.

Overcast here this morning.
Or maybe it is left over smoke. There is a big woods fire to the SE of us down in Pender County. That's well over 100 miles away and yet the smoke hung thick in the air yesterday owing to the prevailing wind direction.
That, plus the high heat and humidity, prompted the issuance of health warnings.
It should be better today.
(The smoke that is - not the heat and humidity!)

Good morning! I have been a busy cleaning lady the last week or so! I have been in a pitching mood! It feels good! I'm getting the house ready for the Countryfest weekend, which is starting TONIGHT! :) The pre-party is at our house tonight - we are browning 25 lbs. of ground beef & chopping 20 lbs of onion to make Chili for the party at our house Saturday night - after the festival. Tomorrow night the pre-party is at our back yard neighbors house. Might as well get the party started! :dance: The fest actually starts Friday night (accross the road from our house) which always includes a nice craft show with lots of fun CHRISTMAS things!!! Really looking forward too it!!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We took my brother-in-law out for his birthday last night to Buffalo's Hot Wings, and they were HOT! Tuesday night is all-you-can-eat night for $4.99. After we left, I'm sure they decided to change their pricing structure. It's hard to beat that price. For $40, the 6 of us ate all we could hold. Of course, it took a gallon of sweet tea each to wash the hot sauce out of our mouths. Nice!

I replaced the failed power supply in my main computer at home when we got home last night. That took a couple hours, but it's up and running again.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is already hot here in northern California. I went to Wal-Mart last night and bought a package of five dice and a deck of cards for each of my students. I have to go to Chico to get the Yahtzee score cards because the local store was out. I am going over tomorrow after school to get those. Then I will decorate paper bags to put the stuff in. I think they will like it. I hope everyone has a great day!

I'm ready to meet at the pines. ANOTHER part has gone on the van. Good thing its minor and something I can replace (I hope..). LOL Ill let you know. We had a big thunderstorm last night, nothing bad. Work is busy as usual. My niece is doing well. Met her for the first time on the weekend. Ill post some pictures when I get home. Well. Back to work I go. See you all at the pines!!!!
