Christmas Countdown - 2011

Well, my dear friends...the time has come. I'm out of town for one week heading to a conference. Can't wait. Sure it will be great and I love going places with those I work with. Great bonding. Meetings will be all day, then we get together at night to eat and go over notes, then usually we hit the town for a couple of hours. Long days, but fun. Just hate that the wife is out of town for the next four weeks and I'm gone this week. Our anniversary is Thursday and we will be about a 5 hour flight apart. I can't wait to see her Saturday.

Going to read the boards while laying in bed. See everybody tomorrow night or Monday morning.

Have a safe trip friend!!!! I'm sorry to hear that you won't be with your wife on your anniversary this year. I'm sure she won't mind celebrating a few days late.

Its the father-in-laws birthday today so we are going to their house this afternoon, got to go food shopping this morning as I didnt go yesterday, took the kids to the towns carnival! We had a great day, rain showers were forcast but it held off and stayed warm and dry!! The kids were tired out when we got home!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny here and expected to be hot again today. What a surprise! I have my second cup of coffee here and am listening to Christmas tunes on MCR. I wish I could get that for my car. Then I would be a happy camper! I am going to help hubby type up some information he needs, and then I am going to sketch out some scrapbooking cards and mini-albums. I am also doing some planning for the new school year. Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I worked all day yesterday at the store, then I came home and jumped in the pool. Whew, that was refreshing! Nancy and the kids were helping Nancy's mom clean the "tent" at the Methodist Campground in preparation for Campmeeting week after next. The tent is actually a block house that has a concrete floor and no ceiling, just rafters and a roof. It does have electricity and running water, but it's still a little too rustic for me. LOL But, I guess I'll be sleeping there for a week. Ugh.

Anyway, we're off soon to mom's house for dinner (that's lunch for you non-southerners), so I'll BBL.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be a hot one here in central Indy. I am going to be a bad boy this morning and skip church. I woke up to a flat tire on my truck and I really don't feel like changing it right now. So I will wait until my mom gets home and take her car to get some fix a flat. I usually have a can but I used it on my moms car about 2 weeks ago. So my plan for today is to kick back and do some reading and then I am going to watch Christmas vacation on comedy central. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good steamy Sunday afternoon, Christmas family!

It is a hot one and only going to get hotter. I'm taking things easy today - very sore and tired for some reason. I hope it is the humidity and I am not coming down with that virus that is going around here. My plans are to read and nap and nap and read - unless the fur kids need something.
