I meant to tell you but we went to Hobby Lobby this past Saturday in our town and they had all their individual ornaments out. I saw a few Santas too! =)

I cannot seem to catch up on the forums. I have been so busy and so exhausted! I will try to catch up soon but right now I am going to lay down and watch The Santa Clause.

I don't think I mentioned yesterday that after our Christmas in July party on Saturday night - Sunday I think I had a little bit of the after Christmas blues! :lol: I'm over it now, but we were all like "awwwe...it's over!"
But just think...now you can get all excited about December 25th Christmas!
I'm so sorry to hear you are having surgery! But...watching Christmas movies for a few days sounds like fun!

Well - things went well at work today, so I did not have to work late. I am super happy about that!
Like MsChristmas...I seem to be buying A LOT of Christmas presents these days! I cannot seem to help myself! I guess what helps is that I keep listening to Christmas music on my MP3 player.
We went to Centre Island on the weekend and I got off a ride a little funny and hurt my ankle. It doesn't really hurt a lot - but it is really swollen (I'm actually surprised that it doesn't hurt more - its so swollen). So - I am going to go and ice it for a while, and no running for me tomorrow morning.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi and wish you all a merry evening!

I just had to come back on, it was quite a day we took the boys to a local beach for the day. It was fun an I got a sunburn on one arm, go figure. We get home around 4:30 to make dinner and JP puts the TV on and all of the sudden the ominous blue screen from Emergency Broadcast Systems pops on saying "alert, alert, alert tornado warning in effect for your area." My heart dropped since it is still less than 2 months from the one that devastated our town. The boys started to panic at the same time the lightning and thunder really get loud. The kids and my wife went to the basement, I stayed upstairs and watched the news, and they were saying it was heading directly for our town again. I heard a news and I booked it to the basement. Needless to say it never materialized but it looks like some did touchdown in a couple neighboring towns, and they did say there was a funnel cloud spotted in my town.
What a day.

I can understand why that would scare you all so much! Glad you are all save and it was just a thunderstorm. How are the kids now?

Xmas365-...that is terrifying!! Very glad that no tornado actually touched down in your area... As a child I was ALWAYS terrified of tornados... to this day wind causes me to have anxiety issues.. kinda weird.. and i don't know why.. but I do. haha
Today, after work I went for my first jog in quite a few months.. and well.. It was tough. I can already tell i'm going to be sore tomorrow.. but thats what I get for stopping in the first place!! Yesterday I started eating healthier.. hopefully i can get my self in great shape for next summer...
