Hello Hello Helloo......!
Just popping in to say HELLO!
How terrible! I'm praying for rain for you!!!
Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! It's hot here in central Indy once again. There may be some relief in sight though. The 10 day forecast shows highs in the mid 80's the middle of next week. I have been kinda lazy this morning but I am starting to get myself in gear now. I have some cleaning to do today and then I have to run some errands. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
What a wonderful story! Thanks so much for sharing, Brad!
Someone in my town snapped a shot of what looks like a funnel cloud from the storm last night.. we walked around looking at the damage. Many, many LARGE uprooted trees. I think 2 hit homes, but thankfully no one was hurt. No answer yet if it was a tornado, though... It really freaked me out! I have an irrational fear of tornadoes, which is odd because I live in Pennsylvania, so it scared me!
"Bers" are the best time of year!!!!Happy August! Only 30 more days until the "Bers!"
Tomatoes all die off by mid July here. It is common for it since we get so hot. I bet it's nice to still be able to grow them where you live!Good almost evening, MMC!
Today's work day went very slow - not a lot of jobs were posted. I should be able to make up lost ground tomorrow. It was another hot day here - pretty soon the sun will be shining in the kitchen window and it will be unbearable to sit here. Then shortly after that, the sun should go behind the pine trees behind the barn, and then things might cool off enough that I can go outside and check on the garden. I bet the tomato plants are a lot perkier after the rain this morning. If nothing else, the weeds will have spread
I finished 4 of the 5 books in the read-a-thon I was in and was almost a third of the way through the last one. Amazing how much I can read when I don't watch television. It is also amazing how sleepy I get. Anywhere from 9-10 pm and I am barely able to keep my eyes open - should be interesting during the concerts I am going to see later this month.
Have a great evening!!!!!!!!!
I'm plugged in again just to get a little caught up on the happenings of MMC for the last few days. 16,000 WOW!
I miss you all.
Talk to you all soon
Ron
