Super glue is my best friend, especially after my boys get a hold of an ornament. Poor Buzz Lightyear, he met super glue at least 3 times in the last 2 years.

LOL, when my kids where small that was my friend too!

Welcome to PINESDAY! Wooo. Formally known as Wednesday. lol

In honor of August I popped in my Christmas mix cd into the van on the trip to work. Ahhh I had the tingly Christmas feeling with the a/c cranked. Still muggy here. Cant wait for the cooler temps. Its getting a little busier at work and that's good. We have been dead during this summer. Come on people keep breaking your dell computers hehe. Then you get to talk to me! The best of the best! My Mom, Sister and her baby Madison are coming down in a few weekends! I cant wait. Its hard to see family two hours away when you work full time. Well back to work I go. Hope to see you all at the pines. Don't fall for Carl's "52 pickup" magic trick! hehe

I have several family members within a 2 hour drive from here and also have a problem getting to see them, and I don't work full time!!!

well, that's it for me today! Have to take my daughter to Goderich for dental surgery tomorrow so it will be a long day!

I went to Goderich many (and I do mean "many") years ago. "Welcome to Godeich. Ontario's Prettiest Town" (or something like that). I hope everything wnt okay!

Thanks, my daughters surgery went well. She is in the rec room resting, still feeling fine, but then the freezing has not yet worn off!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Still more work to do in my classroom, but it is all coming together. I hope to finish before the weekend so I can just do paperwork and fine tune lesson plans next week. I just read on the Internet where Matt Damon defended teachers who have tenure. A reporter had asked him if he thought that teachers with tenure really worked hard. What a stupid question! (I want you to know that I rarely use that S-word!!!) I normally go in early and stay late and I have been teaching a looooong time! That reporter must not know any teachers personally!

Well...if that reporter knew you - he wouldn't have asked such a stupid question! I bet you are a wonderful teacher, Seawaters!

We painted the living room yesterday, my wife gets up today and she dislikes the color and now she wants to repaint that. Yes dear and nod. cheesy I hate painting!

My sons' grandma (their father's mother) passed away today. She's been sick for a very long time. Its been many years since I've seen her - but I still feel very sad...and I feel very sad for my boys.

I'm so grateful for my family. I would do anything for them. I don't know what I would do - or where I would be without them. I am truly blessed...
