99 days til the season (which I have an alarm set for in my phone) and 6,000 posts to me!

Maybe 7,000 by Christmas!

Good Weekend Morning, Everyone!

Well, with another major Milestone passed, let's look at the daily count:
Days to the Season: 99
Days to Christmas Day: 141
Lookie! Lookie! DOUBLE-DIGITS to Christmas Season 2011.
My, oh my!!

Our NEXT Milestone you might ask?
Is it too soon?
Are you afraid to look and see how fast the year is moving??
Well, here it is, ready it or not:
It's Milestone #13 on our chart. It's the 3/4 mark to the Season!
And what's more, that auspicious marker is just ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!
Impossible!
(If the count was a football game it would be almost time to start the 4th quarter. You know how fast the game moves after that!)

Hard rain for quite some time this morning.
Puddles in the yards. But we needed it.
Currently it is 77 and we will hopefully fall short of the 90's this afternoon.

You have a Sensational Sunday, Friends.
Enjoy your Weekend to the fullest in the spirit of Christmas!

I have a friend that I knew at church back in Maryland. I found out recently that he has Multiple Myeloma ( it is a cancer that affects the bone marrow). It is the same thing my father died of, my father was diagnosed on Thanksgiving day 1976 and he died on March 15th 1977. Knowing my father he waited too long before finally going to the doctor. Anyway my friend just posted on Facebook that he is responding well to the meds, and his markers are down by 50%. So that was great to know.

I have know Dave (that's his name) for about 30 years, he is a great guy, and a very strong and faithful Christian. When I first became a Christian, he took me under his wing and helped me learn with lots of one on one Bible study. I would appreciate any prayers for Dave, if you don't mind.

Wayne, I will be praying for your friend xo

Congratulations Friend!!!!!!! I'm sure you can hit 7,000 while watching Darlene love on December 23rd.

Just got back from Yankee's Halloween preview... all the employees were dressed up! Giving out candy, etc. It was so much fun! I didn't get to take pics because Jude and I were busy smelling each and every candle... (while my hubby had crazy Noel walking in the mall - that little guy is a rascal! hehe)

Took this pic for Made in my Hallmark store!

I got all the way to the store and realized I forgot my shopping list. So I bought what I remebered and now I am back home to eat lunch and grab the list. I heard from my sister and her heart scan was fine. So that's some good news. Maybe I'll stop by hobby lobby while I'm out this afternoon.

I'm just thrilled that DH and I along with our two black lab puppies had our Christmas photo done today and already had the cards printed this evening in just 45 minutes at Walgreens. This is a major holiday milestone for me.

In the past our Christmas photo included the entire family and had become a nightmare for me with all the whining, complaining and fussing. This year we decided early on that we would do our own Christmas photos and shake things up a bit by going non-traditional.

We had the most beautiful spot picked out months ago of a cat tail lined swamp filled with old trees that had tons of moss hanging from it's weathered branches. The was at our local State Park and although it wasn't in front of the fireplace or Christmas tree we did have a small grouping of Christmas wrapped presents and giant ornaments. It was taken during a perfect Louisiana sunset. I'm actually excited about addressing Christmas cards. LOL

Isn't it great to get things done ahead of time, and done well, to boot? Can we see your photo? Or do we have to sign up for the card exchange? :)

Good morning, Christmas family. I don't know how long I have on here but I wanted to at least let you know I am still alive !! Made suggested I try a proxy server and as a very last resort I did and guess what ? Here I am. I don't know what this means. If anyone knows why I can get on with a proxy server instead of regular please let me know via Facebook. Also, any computer techs out there...........We noted last evening that when we go directly from the modem to the computer there is NO CONNECTION. However, when we go through the router THER IS a connection. We were always able to plug directly in from the modem to the computer before and connect. I am thinking the modem is needing replaced ?? Thank you to Made, Jeff, and Rockchild for all your help. I am planning on getting a new modem from the cable company Monday. I still don't get why I can get on with a proxy server ??!!Thank you Christmas family. I have missed you !!! Please again, let me know any thoughts you may have on Facebook I hope all are well xo

I'm glad you got things straightened out, even if the cause is still a mystery! With xmas365 and [who else had Belkin trouble?], and now you, I'm afraid of trying to log on and finding that I can't.

The progress is good news. Prayers going up for Dave.

Made: I'm glad your sister's scan turned out ok - I will keep her in my prayers.
SIT: I'll keep Dave in my prayers.
Britt: Congratulations!
Coach: Congratulations!
CM3: good to see you on here!

Good afternoon, Christmas family!

It is another hot and humid one here today. Supposed to be the same tomorrow. Hopefully, there will be some rain.

Called my friends several times yesterday to finalize plans for the get together and they decided to do it some other time. I agreed and pulled out a pile of paperwork for the store. I was organizing everything (well, let's face it, I was making a pretty big mess as I was organizing and setting up my tasks) when I get the call to be ready in 10 minutes because dinner is back on. Grrrrrrrrrrr! It ended up being a lovely evening, though. We ate at Applebee's (yummy!) and went to Culver's for dessert. It was just nice to get out and talk.

Today I went to the store - almost made our rent for the month already cheesy Put out a tote and a box of glassware, dusted and met a few new vendors. It was a good day's work!

For some reason I can barely keep my eyes open - I think I will take a nap and then tackle that paperwork I was going to do yesterday evening.

Have a great afternoon!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! We are entering day 21 of our heat wave here in central Indy. The projected high for today is 91 but at least there is a 50 percent chance of storms. I am going shopping for school supplies this morning. My sister is still having chest pains so she hasn't had a chance to go get my nieces the stuff they need yet. So I am going to run into target this morning and pick up the basics for them. Then it will be time to come home and hopefully enjoy the rain. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope your sister Is doing okay!!! Have they figured out what it is yet?!

EDIT: Nevermind, just read they still think it's an inflammation! Hopefully the steroids help!
