Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good morning afternoon christmas buddies! Seems like Nov 13th is so close but judging by the weather it might as well be the middle of summer! I have another 6 weeks then I am home to the states,I tell you time does pass fast and the older I get the scarier it gets. I spend most of my time these days day dreaming about what I am going to do this fall/winter with my decorations. It will be another skimpy/christmas as far as my spending goes because of the baby coming and me trying to save for retirement which is coming up in a few years if I opt to take it,but that is another story! anyhow I will decorate my home with fall/halloween theme in early october,I just wish octobers were cool in the south like they use to be.It really does not cool down like gets into the 40's and 30's until november. I am putting up the tree on Nov 13th! and that is when most of the tv/satellite tv music channels start with Christmas music! ahh can't wait! take care everyone and it is so refreshing to logg on here and read alot of your posts's and messages to me,you guys are awesome!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is going to be hot here in central Indy today. I have some stuff to get done this morning and then I have to babysit for awhile this afternoon. My sister is doing a lot better but her doctor is still trying to figure out what was going on. I should be done babysitting in plenty of time to get to the pines tonight though. I can't wait to taste Carl's new blend. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well my dearest friends.. I am feeling no better today. Had to go to work for a couple hours as they could not find a replacement till later on.. LONGEST 3 hours of my life hahaha. Hopefully this flu or whatever it is finds a different home soon.. because this one is so OVER IT! I slept for 95% of yesterday... about to take some gravol and sleep away part of this day! Hope all is well.

Good Wednesday (Pinesday), my Christmas friends!

We made a whirlwind trip yesterday afternoon. My son had to go to guitar lessons, and my daughter had to go to a shoe fitting. I know, it sounds strange. She's taken dance since she was old enough to walk, and now she wants to move into pointe ballet. Apparently, you don't just buy pointe shoes, you have to be fitted. Also, it helps to have a money tree growing in your backyard. Sheesh!

It's also strange that my son takes guitar lessons from someone else, but I've always played by ear, and I can't read music. I want him to learn the "right way". He's doing great!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Another hot day here in northern California. Like Dawg, I remember the cool Octobers in the South. I wish we still had those days! My first day back to school yesterday was fun, thankfully. I have 25 students, some with some behavior issues. One of my last year's behaviorally-challenged students kept popping in to see me yesterday. It was so funny to see how much he had matured! Well, gotta get to work. I'm making a quick trip to McDonald's for some tea! Have a great day, everyone!

Hello MMC pals!!!

Wow, it feels GREAT to be back and trying to catch up on what I missed all year. Next week, my family and I will be spending 10 wonderful days on a Florida vacation. I am really excited about that. Needless to say, as I lay out by the pool, I will have Christmas tunes playing on my MP3. I will really be in the spirit of the season. Sometimes I can't help but sing along, so just imagine the looks I am going to get from the sun-bathers listening to me sing and hum Christmas music. Who knows, they may join in. Well today in NJ its warm, bright and sunny, but I also feel and smell the fall season in the air. Although I am excited about my summer vacation, I still am excited about the approaching holiday season. Soon I will be making Thanksgiving dinner plans and Christmas will be right around the corner. What a LOVELY thought. Well, take care everyone. Have a WONDERFUL day!!

Add another person to the list of wanting to stay in bed all day! I am mega sleep deprived today and have been drinking a lot of coffee to wake up - hopefully it will kick in soon.

I got in two workouts this morning - balletcore and a 1 plus mile walk. I wanted to walk more, but Bo was getting hungry so I took care of the fur kids and started to get ready to go out. Today is the Heart and Def Leppard concert - yay! It should be a lot of fun! Provided I do not fall asleep during it, that is :grin:
