Good morning afternoon christmas buddies! Seems like Nov 13th is so close but judging by the weather it might as well be the middle of summer! I have another 6 weeks then I am home to the states,I tell you time does pass fast and the older I get the scarier it gets. I spend most of my time these days day dreaming about what I am going to do this fall/winter with my decorations. It will be another skimpy/christmas as far as my spending goes because of the baby coming and me trying to save for retirement which is coming up in a few years if I opt to take it,but that is another story! anyhow I will decorate my home with fall/halloween theme in early october,I just wish octobers were cool in the south like they use to be.It really does not cool down like gets into the 40's and 30's until november. That's AWESOME!!! I saw Heart...well - I guess it was back in 1991 or something like that. I've always wanted to see Def Leppard (big fan!).

Well - here we are again, Christmas friends...the end of another day - and one day closer to the Christmas Season - and Christmas Day!!! YA!

Work has been really busy these days - but my boss is taking us out sailing tomorrow afternoon. That should be fun...but they are calling for thunderstorms! Actually...its the only day this week that they are calling for that. Well...its only a 40% chance so there's a 60% chance that everything will be just fine.

Just listening to MCR right now. That's what I do now whenever I go on MMC: MCR goes on too! There is just something about listening to Christmas music while looking and reading Christmassy things of MMC!

Actually - I just received word today that the 2011 Sear's Christmas Wishbook is out! Oh...I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE IT!!!

Anyway...you all have a merry evening - and dream about Christmas! I will too!

I know what you mean about being busy! At least I can leave for Vermont on Sunday for a rest!!
I am making a cake for someone's birthday, just finished baking it. One layer is pink, the next is yellow and the last is purple. It will be filled and iced with vanilla butter cream. Then decorated to look like a box that is filled with candy. It will also have a canister of popcorn. All are her favorite things.

I took an inventory on the weekend of what I've bought for Christmas and for whom - and I've just made a good copy of the list!
 
Good afternoon, everyone. It is still hot here, so I am looking forward to the Pines tonight. Had another good day at school, and another teacher told me that my class is so nice! That's always good to hear! We had a teacher collaboration today in the afternoon that was even a lot of fun. I think our new principal will be a good one! Yeah! Have a great rest-of-the-day and see you at the Pines!

As I mentioned to you all earlier about my granddaughter talking to Santa Claus on her toy phone, she was talking about Santa all day today! She even asked me to get out my animated Santa. It's a decoration so I have to watch her when I have him out but she is so gentle with him and tries to hand him toys and hugs him.

I posted this awhile back but this is her with him the first time she saw my animated Santa. She was amazed!

She is a year old in this picture. She will be 2 next week.

(By the way, he is unplugged when she hugs him, I don't want her messing with a bulb!)
