I'd like to say that not much is going on here, but I've been very busy! My summer job ends in two weeks. But, I need to find a new job immediately after! Oh no! When the new job arrives, I should have much more time to do things - ie post on MMC!

Can't wait to return full-time. Hope you are all enjoying the rest of your summer. The leaves up here are starting to fade. You can see fall emerging more and more every day. The next season's beauty is nearly upon us. Of course, that makes us all crave for the greatest season of all! See you all again soon!

We just got back from the Dallas Cowboys football game. My daughter and son in law took us. They lost but we still had fun! =)

We're back to the beginning of another week? I'm not sure I love Mondays, but they are a necessary evil in the countdown towards Christmas!

I'm off to work today. I have some major planning sessions going on and I have some hiring to do. This will be the first day of driving my car with out it being a cow car anymore. It will be weird! I'm used to people gawking at me! We're going to continue discussing getting a new (to us) car. My car did not pass inspection and it needs a lot of work! DH and I are just not on the same page. We don't want to have to take out a loan, but I just can't see putting $1000 more into a car that has over 201,000 miles on it! Thoughts?

Alright, I'm off to work! Hope its a fabulous Monday!

Bradmac and Crown- It looks like the NHC has shifted the path of Irene further east and the more reliable models are showing it hitting from GA to NC. I'll be praying that it fizzles out before it heads your way.

We are indeed keeping a watchful eye on her, Made!
(Actually, I feel more comfortable calling Irene "it" rather than "her", despite the name!)

OK! New week -- new count:
Days to the Season: 83
Days to Christmas Day: 125
Now UNDER half a week away from Milestone #14, the 2/3 Christmas Day mark.
Then, just look how close we will be to passing under 100 to Christmas.
Woweezers!

Sunnier here this morning than it was yesterday.
No rain materialized but it's still possible today before we reach a short dry period.
Currently, we stand at 74 wonderfully walkable degrees here in the capital city.

Good early evening, everyone. We just got back from our Elks meeting. Breakfast at IHOP was great, and the meeting went well. We shopped for a few groceries and picked up four different Jack Daniels marinades. We bought a small turkey breast which hubby will grill on the outside rotisserie grill. I am off to do some professional reading and then watch some TV. Have a great evening. Also, is anyone else have problems getting on to realthanksgiving.com?

I was having trouble getting on there yesterday but I figured it was just me again......xo Every time I would get on IE or something would kick me back off with an error message !!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like the heat has once again returned here in central Indy. Today isn't going to be to bad but the rest of the week we are looking at temps right around 90 degrees. I don't have much going on today. I have some research to do for a project I am working on and then I will probably spend some time looking for new candy recipes to try. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. I will soon be on my way to school. This will be our first full week of togetherness. One of the things I taught my students to spell last week was together by saying "to get her." At first they did not understand, but when I wrote "Completed Together" on the board, a light went on! Have a great day, everyone!

I watched that game!!! Although I am a Giant's fan I still love to watch a lot of other teams play. I am so glad you had fun!!! How was the stadium? I bet it is beautiful!

It's amazing! It's the 3rd time I been there, once for Paul McCartney and twice for the Cowboys. You walk in and it's like "WOW"! They really did a nice job building it. As many people that attend there I am amazed how friendly the entire staff is. I don't remember the staff being that friendly at the old stadium. No one was rude at the old one, it's just at this stadium everyone you go to for food, scanning tickets, security, parking attendants, etc. they all ask how your doing and follow up with, "enjoy the game"! Even the police officers who patrol the area speak to you and are friendly.
