Well here I am being naughty posting on here while NOT on my break at work hahahhaha... Hope everyone's afternoon is lovely and I'll be back later:)

That made me chuckle, you are too funny!:point:

Greetings from Middle America to all my fellow Christmas lovers. It's been awhile since I posted. No excuses, I've just been slacking (but is sure has been a fun summer woot woot). I have lots of reading to do to get somewhat caught up on all the happenings. Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your day.
I was wondering where you have been. Welcome back!

CAH & LB,

I wish I could be more enthusiastic about the upcoming football season, I am a Cincinnati Bengals fan and I have no hope whatsoever this year for them. I honestly believe they will not win a game this year. I have been a fan of them for 30 years, and I am honestly thinking of changing my allegiance until the owner sells the team. A friend at work is trying to get me to switch to the Steelers, and my bro-in-law to the Patriots, (which will never happen, I hate the Pats) I don't know if I can deal with being a Bungles fan anymore.

Bring on hockey season!!! cheesy

Okay Christmas friends,

I have a ten dollar gift card to buy a DVD, and I want a Christmas DVD. I have narrowed it down to 2, I just want to hear a few opinions of what to select.

They are:
"Christmas Story" (the movie from Finland, not Ralphie) or "Yogi Bear's All Star Christmas Caper"

I like them both and can't seem to make up my mind. cheesy

I just had this talk with my daughter last night who is not sure if she is a Cowboys fan anymore because they lost a few of her favorite players. I told her it's all part of the NFL and it's the way it goes. I have been bummed out in the past when my favorite players left too but still stuck with them.

I also said to her like I will say to you, stick with them until they pull through their rut. I know Cowboys have had their share of ups and down, last year for instance being terrible, but I will always stand behind them. There have been some years they were nothing but a joke to everyone then suddenly make the Super Bowl and win! It's times like that makes it all worth it to be loyal to them. I guess you could say it's like family to me, stick with them through the good and the bad. Then again, it's only football, it's up to you to decide. =)

.......But, if you really want to change your allegiance, be a Cowboys fan! :!!

Good afternoon, my friends!

I am still awake - yay!

Just finished with one of my jobs a few minutes ago - a lot of work posted and I was able to buzz right through with no problems. When I was done, I ate the best peach I have ever had in my life - fresh off of the tree out back. The first crop (ever) off the trees and they are simply yummy! The garden is not producing this year, but the fruit trees and the black walnut trees are loaded.

This morning, before work, I made refrigerator pickles and pasta salad, and washed and dried the vegetables I was given yesterday. The peppers were sliced and frozen - 2 gallon bags of bell peppers and a quart bag of jalapeno peppers are now residing in my big freezer. The zucchini is waiting to be grated up for breads and muffins. Tomorrow if I get up early enough I will be doing some baking.

Have a great evening!!!!!!!

I have never heard of that version of, Christmas Story. I had to look it up. It looks like a really good movie!

You have a tough decision, not sure which one you should get. The Yogi Bear one would be good since the kids would love to watch that one with you. =)

That all sounds delish!

Good evening,

Just the boys and I tonight, my wife went with her mother and brother and sister to see the Harry Potter movie, they are all such big Potter fans. I am the designated babysitter, because I could take it or leave it. A day off tomorrow, last few days until school starts around here, JP is anxious, my wife is nervous about being ready for the new year. .

Enjoy your evening!

here is my current view as I sit on the deck at my sisters place in Vermont. After last nights storm that knocked out the power for several hours it is nice to be out here enjoying the nice weather!

Nice view!!!!! I hope you have fun in Vermont!!!!

Good night!!!!!!!!!

Laney,

WOW that sounds like a lot to keep up 10 four year old's!!! Hope all goes well with your husband, I know my husband loves stake, we don't have it often so every so often I treat him to that, and it is good on the grill.

Now what is a Houseworks Holiday Plan, please share maybe I can be your buddy???:!!

The Houseworks Holiday Plan is an 18 week home organization and holiday prep plan. Every year I start it and every year I fizzle out pretty early! But I always get slightly further than the year before. I figure a cleaner house and a more organized Christmas = a more relaxing, enjoyable Christmas! Here's the link to check it out!

Let me know if you want to give it a go!

Ugh, it was a REALLY rough day at work today and I am just SO exhausted! We're supposed to meet our small group for snow cones tonight, but I may have to stop at Starbucks on the way first! I could really use a cup of coffee!!!

Then off to the store. I decided to make strombolli for DH for his dinner tomorrow night after his procedure. Thats seems like a really good, filling, comfort food. Hope he likes it!!!

And with this post, Lauriebear is poster #17,300. For her efforts, she wins a notepad to take notes when Laney gives her info about her Holiday Plan!!! Yeah!!
