...Just the boys and I tonight, my wife went with her mother and brother and sister to see the Harry Potter movie, they are all such big Potter fans. I am the designated babysitter, because I could take it or leave it.

The Houseworks Holiday Plan is an 18 week home organization and holiday prep plan. Every year I start it and every year I fizzle out pretty early! But I always get slightly further than the year before. I figure a cleaner house and a more organized Christmas = a more relaxing, enjoyable Christmas! Here's the link to check it out!

I could go for this plan too! Keeping my 3 grandkids all summer long really got me behind on getting some organization done. I will now be keeping my 1 grandchild since 2 of them started back to school.

Well instead of getting in trouble for posting on my phone... My "manager on duty"..decided it would be a great opportunity for us to .. make christmas lists hahaha.. She ended up writing out everything she planned on buying for her boyfriend and family!.. Totally did not expect that what so ever!

Great! I dug my copy out the other day and started looking through it again. I don't follow the plan exactly - I adapt some of the weeks to suit my home. For instance, I don't have a guest bedroom, but I may dedicate an extra week to the master bedroom because I want to paint it before the holiday season!

I'll be working on my calendar and some of my plans tomorrow while DH is having his procedure done at the hospital. I'll have to let you know what my plan is!

I wish I could be more enthusiastic about the upcoming football season, I am a Cincinnati Bengals fan and I have no hope whatsoever this year for them. I honestly believe they will not win a game this year. I have been a fan of them for 30 years, and I am honestly thinking of changing my allegiance until the owner sells the team. A friend at work is trying to get me to switch to the Steelers, and my bro-in-law to the Patriots, (which will never happen, I hate the Pats) I don't know if I can deal with being a Bungles fan anymore.

Bring on hockey season!!! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy. There is a chance of storms this evening though!!! I was just watching the local news and they announced the dates that the auditions will be held for the Indianapolis circle of lights celebration. That's another sign that Christmas is going to be here before we know it!!!!! Well my niece should be here in a few minutes so I better get ready. I'll see y'all this afternoon. I woke up to cool enough temperatures that I wished I had closed the windows. Brrrrr - it is chilly in the kitchen this morning! Fall cannot be to far away now :dance:

The boys need to be fed and then I will see about getting my bread baked before I start work later this morning.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went home yesterday afternoon and bought straw to put around the shrubs, and ran the string-trimmer in the yard till it was time to go to my mom's for supper. She makes the BEST spaghetti EVAH!!! Anyway, my son's birthday is coming up and he wants a bunch of his buddies to come over and swim and have airsoft wars. Ergo, Nancy has me working in the yard.

I don't know if the party will materialize with the hurricane bearing down on us, but hey, at least the yard will look good for a few days!

Good morning! Well today is going to be very long... Got about 3 hours of sleep due to an ill kitten. My poor buster has gotten sick about 9 times now In the last 6 hours... I'm very worried..however he doesn't go outside.. So that takes a couple possibilities outta the mix... So off to the vet we will go! I'm Hoping that it's nothing horrible praying whatever it is, isn't terminal. My other kitten, Emery, seems to be fine.. Full of energy,doesn't quite understand why his brother is sleeping... When he could be running around causing havoc on everything and everyone in sight! Haha
