Hi everyone, just a fast hello the 1st of the ber's is starting off with a bang!!! They are gearing up for September 11th so we have to have certian things in place I got home so late I missed the Pines, but there is always next week!!! If I don't get a chance to post again, when the Mayor's office calls to yell at us again, I will think of all of you and the Merry thoughts that prevail here!!!

Do you mind me asking what is your role in preparing for the Anniversary of September 11th? I think you mentioned somewhere about it but I don't remember what you do.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! Welcome to September!!! I thought it was supposed to cool down when september arrived. It's 97 degrees here today. Defintely doesn't feel like fall outside. I need to run to the grocery store and then it will be time to come back home and sit in front of the air conditioner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Christmas family!

1st of September! Going to be a few hot days here. 90's tomorrow and Saturday. BUT Sunday brings 60's for all next week! I cant wait! Going to Dads new place this weekend. He moved from Windsor to Kingsville. Should be fun! Nothing new. Just cant wait to put out the Halloween stuff!! Have a great day everyone!

WOW! We are getting close, aren't we!

I had one tough day today, folks. I've been dreading it all week - and wishing it would be over with quick. Thankfully...the day is now done.

And tomorrow is Friday!

I've been terribly busy these days. Not much time to sit! I actually ran my very first race last Saturday! I ran a 10K...and loved every minute of it! How fun!

Did I tell you I sorted through all the Christmas gifts I bought and took inventory? Oh dear...I cannot remember. I just love going through everything and dreaming about wrapping everything up for Christmas! Before you know it...I will be doing just that!

So...58 more days until we put up our Christmas Tree and decorations!!! I've already booked the Monday and Tuesday off. Oh yes...you bet...it will be a long weekend extravaganza for sure! cheesy

Anyway...just wanted to let you all know I'm still here! I'm sorry I am not on as much as I'd like...but my (Christmas)heart is here for sure.

Good afternoon, Christmas family

Some very good news first: My brother-in-law, Wes, who had the major surgery got his first checkup CAT scan yesterday and all is PERFECT. The graft has not slipped and it is not leaking !!! I am so glad. He still is not quite his ornery self, but that was one MAJOR surgery to go through and he IS older. In fact he is getting ready to celebrate his 71st birthday.

Some sad news: Wishbone had the worst episode ever this morning. It took him two hours to get back to the point where it was safe for him to get down and walk. I think I am losing him. But maybe not. I have to remember to take one day at a time. One thing is for certain, I will NOT allow him to lead a life that is not 100% quality just because I am selfish. Sorry to be a "gloombust" (my own word for someone who is always pessimistic:x) I know everyone is very excited about Fall and Chrsitmas. I am too but Wish's episode this morning kind of really knocked me for a loop. Plus I have extreme asthma right now.
