I hope all are well. I am planning on talking to the vet about Wish on Tuesday. I cannot remember if I mentioned it but he may have an arrhythmia of his heart and not a brain tumor at all. If that is the case, I am going to see about switching him to an antiarrhythmic like Atenolol or such !!

Bedtime soon---started a snowflake afghan this evening. Big white snowflakes on royal blue hexagons with white borders. I made one several years ago that turned out nicely. The pattern (in a book) has a few errors in it, so it's a good thing I know what I'm doing!

I hear you loud and clear about colds. Let's see. The repercussions of mine lasted 10 weeks. Haha!!

I got my tree from QVC......It is so cute !!! I need 3 D-size batteries though which I still have to get. Then I will decorate it !!

Good luck with talking with the vet on Tuesday. I will continue to pray for Wish. I know my patients have very good response to Atenolol and I have always thought it is a good drug, so hopefully it will work for him too!

Had a busy day today and did a lot around the house. I got everything done I wanted to though! Penn State played their first game and won big. I can tell Fall is coming because of another big reason - college football! Anyway, it was in the 90's here today, with super high humidity. It hasn't been that hot in a while. Yuck. I think it supposed to rain Labor Day and I am not looking foward to that...went out to eat with my family tonight and enjoyed it! Well, I guess I better head to bed soon. Nightly feeding will be coming up before I know it.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is a cool morning here in central Indy. They are predicting a high of 80 today which is a whole lot better than the 100 we hit yesterday. I have some errands to run after church and then it will be back home to watch some racing. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good morning!

A cooler day is on tap today. I noticed that the black walnut tree leaves are starting to turn yellow. As soon as we have the first frost, the leaves will fall off by the branch - it is really a neat thing to watch, but sure is messy when it is done! Finishing up the pears today - I am making a pear/cherry crisp. I am testing it out as a possible Christmas dessert :dance:

Our "cold" front has hit (yes, that is what the weather guy said), the high will be 92 today! Actually I am THRILLED! The highs have remained over 100 for too long. The rest of the week will be in the 80's! Yessssssss!

I still have a sore throat but should be over this real soon.
