I switched from the chopsticks to Brad's shotgun about 2 hours into the battle. It took about 50 rounds but one of those bird shot pellets finally got the little fella. Now I just have to do something about all of these holes in the wall.

That is one heck of a fly! =)

Aloha!! Glad to see everyones day was swell! Happy Friday to all tonight I am going to watch fireworks down at the waterfront for the annual "salmon festival". Not sure when or why it started... All I know is, it's the weekend where a ton of people come and fish.. And whoever nabs the biggest fish also wins $10,000! then next weekend the "fall fair" is in town.... Which to me, means delicious candied apples, cotton candy, mini donuts, and snow cones!!! Hahahah

That sounds like fun. I love watching fireworks!

I know when I 1st saw the tree I couldn't,t believe it was alive, but it has. I hope you do get to NYC it is a beautiful city & we would love to have you.

One of these days I want to go to New York during the Christmas holidays. It has also been a lifetime dream of mine to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live!

I am once again posting live from Bernie's General Store in beautiful downtown Bellville, GA! I've cooked sausage, eggs & bacon this morning, and I've got the coffee going, so y'all come on down!

Is there something you DON'T do? Mayor (to be), working the General Store, working on the deck, etc. etc.! You sound like Superman to me!

Bernies store would be great sitting side by side with the feed store I work at. They both have that down home country feel!

If we ever pass through Georgia we will have to stop in Bernies Store for some breakfast!

Good morning gang.....

Holidays have been on my mind alot the past couple days. Picked up a few Christmas gifts yesterday and may get more later this weekend. I did order a Turkey Inflatable for the yard for Thanksgiving... so excited. I have wanted one for past few years and could never find them .. well Walmart had them online.... cheesy should get it next week.

So looking forward to decorating for fall, thanksgiving and of course Christmas... speaking of christmas.. here is the countdown

It is a dark and stormy morning - in fact, I am right in the midst of a major storm. The wind started blowing about ten minutes ago and the leaves were swirling down off of the trees - in my humble opinion, Autumn has arrived :dance:

Gosh do I miss stopping by on here & getting a healthy dose of Christmas year 'round!

I just want to give you guys a quick update on me. I FINALLY graduated college in May & now have a degree in Biology :???: I moved back home & looked for a job for only a month & got a job working in my hometown. The job is actually in my field, we make medical devices & I work in the Quality Control Dept. I love my job, but it keeps me EXTREMELY busy! I'm now apart of the real world!!! Next week I will be turning 24 & making my 1st trip out to Las Vegas, hopefully my trip won't be like 'The Hangover' lol

I think of you guys often & wonder what Christmas shenanigans you all have up your sleeve, I'm assuming that you all are doing wonderful! I would love to stop by more often, but working & other activities complicates that. But as the holidays near, I will try my hardest to stop by more often!

Congratulations!

You know, I have been to Vegas 5 times and never had these wild times like they mention, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". I tend to go to bed early and wake up early. Even when I was in my early 20's and went I was asleep by midnight. I got older and in bed by 10:00 pm. I have a great time but don't do the "The Hangover" thing. :lol:

You will have a blast! It's the city that never sleeps.

Well I don't think I got the Job at Canadian tire.. Boooo.. HOWEVER, I did have an interview at Walmart, and now have to go in Tuesday to fill out an availability application! .. Hopefully I get the job!! I am so excited! haha
