Keep us informed on how the new meds work.

Hello Again, Christmas Family

Just talked to the vet about Wish. His EKG did indeed show a subtle abnormality. He is having QRS complexes that sometimes tend to "clump" together and the doc now thinks that is what is causing his "episodes" so brain tumor is not in the differential any longer which is good !

We all have these QRS complex thingies I guess but whey they occur in a single run altogether I guess they cause problems. Wish is now going to be on two heart meds - Benazepril and Diltiazem.

The doc also says the prgnosis could be 1 to 2 years or as little as six months. I am crossing my fingers. But even eternity with our loved ones is not enough.

Thanks Christmas family - Love you all !!

Gotta drink some Goober Juice now that Carl gave me !! xo

Brent- 7 minutes to kickoff!!!!! I can't believe that Tony Dungy just said he would take Aaron Rodgers over Peyton Manning.

Good evening,

Heading for bed a little early tonight the alarm goes off to early. Just saw the Pillsbury Crescent commercial that starts off with the Christmas bells, caught my attention right away. I am not watching the football game, watching Batman Begins on AMC instead. I hope I was able to save my outdoor LED trees today they had fallen in the water in the basement, I hope they are okay.

CM3-I hope the meds work for Wish.

Have a good night!

I have seen that commercial in the past but saw it several times today! =)

Made has fam in PA so I do believe he was talking about the same Holidaysburg!

I saw upstate has mandatory evacuations!! Nuts! The rivers here are wayyy over their banks, but that happens with heavy rains... just WAY moreso than usual. My husband got caught on a highway today and couldn't go anywher e- they shut it down, couldn't get off b/c the streets were so badly flooded. Took him over 2 hours to get 25 miles!!

Thanks for the info! That's crazy. Hope your husband is okay...It is soo bad down east too - down at Hershey Park and in that area got hit sooo hard. Here is a link to watch a video on youtube to see how hard they got hit.

Yes it is!!! I have family in Holidaysburg, Ducansville, Williamsburg, and Altoona.

That is so awesome. I'm live in Altoona, originally from a little town called Roaring Spring, south of Altoona, by about 20 or 25 minutes. We live in here now because of my husband's job. All the fireman, policeman, and other city worker's have to live in the city. Some areas have been flooding, but not as been as down east.

CM3: I am glad you now know what is wrong with Wish. Spend thoughts of time with him and just cherish every moment. :) Will keep saying prayers for you.

Made, I cracked a joke the other day about the Colts.

I feel bad, now. I'm really worried about Peyton. Hope we haven't seen the last of him. He's a true professional.

Good evening, MMC family. I had a good day today. Took my daughter's clothes to a consignment store. I had a lot of clothes, so hopefully I'll do well there. We bought some things for her and my son as well. He's moving through the clothes, as he just turned 2 months and is already wearing 3-6 months. He is going to be a big boy! We then went to my parents for dinner and spent the evening there. My daughter loves spending time with my mom and dad. They have a lot of fun together. I'm just trying to sit and relax now and read the threads. Hope everyone enjoyed their day! Good night MMC!

These are all wonderful suggestions/requests. The answer is a resounding, "YES!!!" I think I will ask Santa to be the pilot and Xmas can be the co-pilot so he will understand that I am willing to share the wealth!! Soup is on, plus any hors d'oeuvres that the great cooks on the forum wish to share. We will stop at all places in between. Just let me know where and when! And yes, CM3 we can even go see the polar bears and even the North Pole!!!

Say good ol pal Seawaters - Think we could jet to where the polar bears live ?? xo

HOORAY !!!!!!

I am glad to hear that it is not a tumor!! yay!!... Hopefully the doctor is wrong and he exceeds two years:)! hope his meds keep the episodes under control, and you can rest a bit easier!!

And with this post, Xmas is poster #18,700. For his efforts, and on the suggestion of Jude's and Noel's Mamma (see below), he wins a towel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I was able to save my outdoor LED trees today they had fallen in the water in the basement, I hope they are okay.
QUOTE]

Rain rain go away...to Texas put out those fires.

Another rainy mess here, so no mowing of the lawn, every time I have a day off to mow, it rains. If LC goes out we might lose him in the grass field. cheesy I have to wait a little longer to do my errands. In the mean time I am watching "The Real Story of Christmas" for the umpteenth time, I recorded it from History Channel last December, I love this one. I will have to play in the water in the basement again later.

Have a great day!

I feel your pain!! Our basement is a nice, soggy swampland again, too... think we should just throw in the towel and build an indoor pool??? hehe
