Hope everyones day is going well so far! Mine is going pretty good, called Walmart today to see how my "interview process" is going. Diane (from personnel) said everything looks great, just waiting for one more reference and that she would contact me later this afternoon and let me know what time my third and final interview was on Thursday. It sounds like I got the job, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions just yet...

Thinking of your brother's girlfriend and everyone with whom she is connected. Cancer is BEATABLE!!!

I don't know if I'll get a chance to post tomorrow. My brother's girlfriend is having surgery tomorrow morning at Hilton Head Island, and I feel like I need to be there for them. She's pretty young, early 30's, and has breast cancer. I'm sure she'd appreciate a prayer sent her way!

I am going to contact some textbook publishers about editing for them or being a presenter for their products. Plus, I can sub for teachers for always, unless I am dead!!! I also want to do scrapbooking for projects to sell! Let's see, is there anything else?

I did a scrapbook for my daughter's college graduation and she loved it. It was a lot of fun to put together and a lot of work to do!

Have lots of fun when you retire. You deserve it!

It is good to have family and loved ones with you when facing such things. I'm glad you are able to be with them. We are praying for her and your brother.

My granddaughter will be over a little later this morning so I got to sleep in! We will probably go to the gym today then head home to listen to some Christmas music and catch up on some cleaning.

I will need some Christmas music, the temps are jumping back up to 106 today! No more opening up the windows for the next several days. Time to put the ac back on. =(

Growing up in Northern Indiana, I always heard the saying as crime-in'ital... I could never decipher what they were saying and always wondered what the old folks meant when they said crime-in'ital. Then one day while watching Grumpy Old Men, I heard John Gustafson (Jack Lemmon) say crime-in-Italy. I thought, "that's what all those old people I grew up around were saying!" LOL

I guess it was a phrase that was coined for an unusual amount of crime in Italy at the time??? But Seawaters is right about the tranlation and meaning of the phrase. LOL

A fine, sunny day now that the fog has burned off. Now that schools and colleges are back in session and the summer vacation season is over, it's taking 20 or 30 minutes longer to drive to work in the morning. Time to listen to some of the Christmas CDs in the back of the binder.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It is going to be a hot one here in central Indy. We are slowly racing towards a high of 90 and then tomorrow we should see a high in the 60's. Hopefully my cold doesn't come back. I just got over the cough yesterday. I have some more work to do today. I started off with a bang yesterday but I kind of slowed down after lunch. So I didn't get everything done. My youngest niece is also coming in to stay the night tonight. My sister has a doctors appointment early tomorrow morning so I'm just going to keep her all night instead of getting up at 6am. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
