Yearrrr! Since today be talk like a pirate day, I be doin my post in pirate yammar...yaarrr!!
I be waitin on the land lubbers to call me back bout me job. I havent heard anything from them scallywags since thurrrrsday. Ieee better be getting the job or else people be walking the plank!

Now back to regular old James. lol

So yeah. I checked my email and nothing about the job yet. Doh! Just a waiting game now. I heard Paul Anka on the radio coming to Caesars Windsor! Oh and he will be singing CHRISTMAS songs!! Woo. Well back to work I go. Hope you have a happy Monday! Christmas season is almost here!

Well today has started with a bang... Dropped a solid steel pressure cooker lid on my thumb... Currently in the waiting room at the hospital in emerge. It's super sore and swollen but I think it's just bruised..

Hi everyone!

Had to work this morning. Woke up a little late for it, too. No, I haven't found a job... I was just helping out at a my old job. Two classes came in today for field trips. So, I had to give them some tennis lessons and games. Also, I had an interview this afternoon... It seemed to go very well. I'm really hoping that I get the position! But, we'll see how it goes! The interview went very well. I'm always confident at the interview, then, afterwards, I become more and more skeptical. We'll see. Hoping for good news as early as tomorrow!

Tonight, I have practice from 7 to 9. I'm excited. Fall practices are fun. Not as much sweating as summer. Plus, there could only be three more weeks of practices left in the season. Anyway, no Christmas news here today. Hoping to get the opportunity to do some searching sometime this week.

Hope you've all enjoyed your Mondays thus far!

Just got back from the vet...our dog is in the middle stages of congestive heart failure...vet says we can treat some of the symptoms...but he doesn't know for how long....he said this can go anywhere from two months....six months would be the tops....

Guess that's the bad thing about pets...wife is crushed....we don't have kids yet, so they really are our kids....and that is her baby....

But ya know, it could be worse....we could have needed to put him down today....as it is know, we can bring him home and spoil him every more. He isn't in pain...doctor assured us of that...we get the chance to make the next few months memorable.....that'll be fun.....

Dang dogs....just breaks your heart....

I am so, so sorry to hear this. We have a 5 year-old golden retriever and we've had her since she's been a puppy. I know exactly what you mean when you say they're like you're kids. I will keep you and your wife in my prayers.

Thanks! We did have a nice weekend, but like you said - busy! The baptism was sooo nice. I just can't believe how fast the kids are growing!

I had the Boxing Day Club. Turkey, bacon, & cornbread stuffing with cranbery mayo on sourdough bread. It was good & not too expensive. The decorations were nice. We were seated in the sunroom & there were pear trees painted on the ceiling & swags over every window with pears in them.

I'm longing for Christmas, but don't have the cash to get my shopping done. I'll probably be later this year on my shopping than I've ever been. I'll probably have to wait until December to get the shopping done this year. Normally I'm finished by Thanksgiving. Oh well, I can still enjoy the music, movies, & decorations!

I want to go there! Sounds like a great place.
