Thanks - I about caught up! I am going camping tomorrow and Weds., possibly Thursday too depending on how the weather is, so I may not be back on until Thursday or Friday, so then I will be REALLY, REALLY behind. :sad:

My first time back since last year and already down to 95 days.....This month is flying by for me and I this weekend hits the three months away milestone already!! WoW!!

NFL is in full swing, with hockey season fast approching and Costco already has their Xmas items out. I even saw some people buying a few things this past weekend.

I remember last year first even hitting me as we hit Sept, around the 115-120 days away mark and Oct is already around the corner with Canadian Turkey long weekend not too far behind....It will all come so fast after that....

I am not really thinking of Xmas much yet but as always, I look forward to hearing about radio stations getting ready to switch around Nov and hearing about Xmas specials on TV and the hearing about the Rockefeller tree going up in NY.

Seeing the first Xmas commercials too will also be a big sign that it's fast approaching.

Not sure if the next Harrold and Kumar Xmas movie commercial I saw last night counts as an Xmas commercial...

The Xmas season most likely won't have the same impact on me this year as it has in the past years as I've hosting the family Xmas gatherings (both tree party and Xmas Eve gatherings) for the last 10 years now and it seems my brother has asked to handle hosting duties this year. For me, that was a big part of the fun. But fair is fair and we'll have to make due and the best of it. The wife is happy not having to worry about getting the house ready for both events. I guess it's a win and loose situation.

It will be fine, I'm certain.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is going to be around 80 degrees here today in central Indy. The air conditioner may have to be plugged back in while I'm running the dryer. I never menetioned it on here before but my niece in seattle has been battling juvenile idiopathic arthritis for the last year and an half. She has been on countless medicinies and nothing seems to help her. It has actually spread from just her knees to 12 joints now. She had been taking weekly shots of Methotrexate and Enbrel for the last month but they haven't seemed to help her either. So they did an mri of her knees last week and it showed the inflamation was far worse than anyone had thought. So they have decided to give her infusions of remicaide starting today. We are praying this finally helps her becuase she has been through a lot for a 7 year old. It's espically been hard on her at school. She can't do PE most weeks and she really can't play during recess. Her teachers have been great but the other kids just don't understand why she can't do things. Well I have some work to do so I'm off to get things done. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it works, and I will keep her in my thoughts.

I am having an ok day. I heard back from TD. I have another phone interview with them. Just waiting to hear back the time, I have to work around my work schedule. They have a Crush pop out for Halloween. Dracula is on the front and its called Blood Cherry. Very good. Well back to work I go. Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We've been busy, busy, busy around here. Nancy's mom had back surgery last week and is still down, and now her dad is very sick with a urinary tract infection. He had to be hospitalized yesterday, and Nancy stayed with him last night. But she said he seems alot better today after some IV antibiotics and fluids. We've all been trying to work our regular jobs while taking turns working at the store to keep it running while Bernie is out. Whew!!

Dove hunting season closed last Saturday for a few weeks, and it re-opens in a few weeks for a couple weeks, then closes till Thanksgiving weekend. Then it stays open till just after New Years. It's hard to beat a cold December morning at daylight in a peanut field when the birds start flying. I love it!

And my pool turned cloudy! With everything going on, I haven't been paying it much attention. Now I gotta dump a bunch of chlorine in it.

I can almost remember when I could go home after work and watch TV. LOL!

You guys always get my prayers and undrtakr I'm sending them onto your friend right now, but I too have found myself in search of comforting words and the attention of God's ear. We had bad news yesterday my friends little boy, age7, found out he has Leukaemia and has to start treatment next week. Its hit us hard as our boys play together and its going to be hard going for the family over the next weeks/months/years. I can't imagine feeling what they are as what I personally feel right now is terrible so it must be magnified for them. He's in hospital at the moment and the kids from his class all took gifts up of magazines etc to cheer him up. He will definitely be in my prayers and thoughts each day as will the family.

Good afternoon,

I have been busy today, getting the kids to school and the errands I had to do I am finally getting to my favorite place in cyberspace. I ran all the way out to my Dr office only to realize they were closed for lunch, I was so hungry I ran to BK for a quick lunch myself, and then back, so I lost an hour of my day there. I had no luck trading DVD's, they had a lot, but nothing I was looking for, and their Christmas movie selection was quite lacking, yet they had them in their own section, must be quite popular. I dropped LC's clothes off at Goodwill, and I of course had to check out their selection of Christmas decor, they had some cool stuff and I picked up a semi-vintage looking 5 light electric candles for $2.50, they will be right smack dab in the center of the bay window. Kmart has nothing for Christmas out yet. :x We are trying a new recipe for dinner, cooking a whole chicken in the crock pot, it smells great, I hope it tastes just as yummy.

I didn't have time to read most of the Countdown posts this morning and I just now caught up.

Busy day and I still have to work this evening. I did a bunch of errands earlier and bought Palmer an early Christmas present - a cat bed - she loves it! I'm going to take her picture with my phone and try to post it on here tomorrow. I know I am very biased, but she is the cutest kitten!!!

When I ask my 2 year old granddaughter if she would like to listen to some music she always ask for, Mele Kalikimaka. It is so cute to hear a 2 year old say that. It's a mouthful! She likes to sing right along with it. =)

Made.. I hope your Niece takes to the remicaide. it breaks my heart when children are effected by health issues. growing up with a sibling in and out of childrens hospital...etc.. was always difficult too see.. I can just imagine what this poor little girl is going through.

..I say pop.. it was quite funny 2 years ago i went on a trip to California and everyone looked at me like i was delusional when i said i wanted a pop hahha..
