Made - Thinking of you and your niece

Thanks!! I just got off the phone with my sister and my niece isn't having a very good day. The steroids kept her up all night and then her knees where really swollen this morning. My sister kept her home from school and now she is having an allergic reaction to one of the medicines. Her face is all red and her eyes keep watering. My sister is waiting on the childrens hospital to call her back but the family doctor said it's probably from the steroids since she has reacted to every other one they have given her.

I have been sick the last week and finally found out the cause and am doing so much better now...Turns out I had Pancreatitis last week.

Okay no more traveling for work for you!!!!! We let you go up north to teach a class and you get sick. Then we let you go overseas and you get sick. I am confining you to Georgia from now until you retire.

hehe. I only get chest infections. The last time I had the flu was New Years Eve 1999.

Last year's Countdown totaled 16226 posts for the year. At the beginning of this countdown I challenged folks to put us over 20,000 for this year.

We're going to pass that milestone either tonight or early tomorrow.

Last year on September 20th there were roughly 10,300 posts by 9/20 -- that means approximately 40% of our yearly posts on the Countdown 2010 came AFTER 9/20.

If that trend holds, we should end up 2011 with more than 30,000 posts.

Shall we have a prognostication contest to see who can guess how close to what we actually post in this thread for the year?

And I prefer diet Pepsi as well.
(Interestingly though, I think regular Coke tastes better than regular Pepsi.)

Good Evening all! I have been sick the last week and finally found out the cause and am doing so much better now...Turns out I had Pancreatitis last week. Dr's put me on a clear liquid diet and antibiotics and so I finally feel human again. I am on leave at work until next monday which is also the day before I leave to come home to the states so I guess I will just "hang out" until then. I have alot to catch up on here,if I miss one day let alone a week around here it takes me a long time,I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello and hope everyone is doing great!

Pancreatits is not good. From what I know about it, its something that can keep coming back. Better look into that, maybe start on a detox cleanse, and some supplements. You are too young to be having all these problems.. Glad to see you back on the boards.
