I hope everyone is having a good day,I don't ask this much,but I do want you guys to pray for me..I have been very sick for the last 10 days and I thought I was getting better but It is worse,I have pancreatitis which I thought was a once in a lifetime thing..but it just want go away,Ive lost 15 pounds in the last 10 days and i can't keep anything down..just keep me in your prayers and I will be greatful!

That's terrible. Fight through it and get better, dawg. I'm sure everyone here would be glad to help!

Okay I cheated.

Big congratulations for getting us to the magical number of 20,000! Now the sky's the limit ...

She was livid with the children's hospital today. It took them 6 hours to call her back and then they told her that she needed to take her in to her family doctor. She told them that would have been nice to know before 5pm and that her family doctor said she needed to call them because he has never received any of the info he has requested from them. She called her family doctor back though and made an appointment for tomorrow morning. She really wants to change rheumatologist but the next closest one that treats children is all the way down in Portland.

It's always to difficult to reach a doctor when you really want or need one, and the breakdowns in communications between doctors and hospitals ... well, I'm preaching to the choir. That sort of thing has made me livid too. I hope things improve for them soon. Please keep us posted.

My grandson got student of the month which will be presented to him at the PTA meeting tonight. I am excited for him. He is only in kindergarten but it is very exciting to see that he is starting off in school and being one of the first students in his class to get this reward.

Straight to the count, as we close in on yet another Milestone:

Now UNDER half a week away from the 3/4 Christmas Day marker!
(How can we be moving along so fast?? The magic of the Christmas Season, I guess.)

A pretty good rain was had here yesterday evening.
None so far this morning but it looks like more could be on the way soon.
Currently, we show 73 damp degrees here in the capital city.

A good time was had by all at the Shispering Pines yesterday, as usual.
Lots of good food, fun and fellowship.
(And a rousing game of "guess the coffee blend" << shudder >>.
Lead by Carl, of course. One guess who won.)

I had the left rotator cuff worked on a few years ago. Then I had foot surgery. You are right: it is a breeze compared to the foot surgery.

My mom has had both of her shoulders operated on to repair torn rotator cuffs. The recovery for it was a breeze compared to her foot. I hope yours will go smoothly.

Hi! I missed out on here yesterday so no Pines for me. I never got a chance to log in at all, very busy day.

My grandson got student of the month which will be presented to him at the PTA meeting tonight. I am excited for him. He is only in kindergarten but it is very exciting to see that he is starting off in school and being one of the first students in his class to get this reward.

We will have much cooler weather today with the high of only 80. Time to open the windows and air out the house!
