I got home today, and my wife and boys were looking for our cats. The door didn't latch completely when they left this morning, and when hey got home the door was open. The found one right away in the house, and then found one outside, I fed them and two more came out, and then found another outside. We are still missing one, Sidney (named after Sidney Crosby) my boys favorite cat, who followed them around like a little dog, has not come home. He is the sweetest cat ever, such a great temperament, we have looked for him all night. We are all devastated because we can't find him, I just hope he comes home tonight, he is an indoor cat, so I hope he can make it.

I hope you find him soon! We lost our cat once for 3 days and I was so worried about her. (she is safe again) We went out every day calling her and are so happy she is safe and no injuries.

Well I start a new shift today. 7am-4pm with weekends off. Now an update on my TD job interview. I have the final on Wednesday at 4:30pm. Ill let you guys know!!!! Now gather round everyone. PICTURE time!

Good morning! I actually did not get sick overnight and all day on sunday which is huge! I am starting to get optimistic about making a full recovery. still eating light foods which sucks of course but at least im not on iv anymore! and another big thing is it's my last day here!!!!!!! I am comin home to Ga tonight and I will be home in my own bed by tomorrow!! I have to go to the infirmary today to get some more antiboitics I did not get on friday. that is all that is on my to do list as I have already said my goodbye's to some folks here who I have become close to and packed my clothes....from what I hear we are still in the low90's in Ga so fall has not come yet to us,I think this weekend we are getting a front that will bring cooler temps which is right on schedule Sept is truly just another summer month for us! have a good day everyone and thanks to all who have kept me in your prayers,and Seawaters hopefully I will have made it home safely in 24 hours from now!!!

What a day. Tonight was brutal. I did over 1700 lines. I am so tired I feel like I could sleep a week !

Hey Guys! I got home at 2 am local time(est) and the first thing I noticed when I got off the plane was that my good friend From massechusetts who I have not seen in years showed up he is a dean of history at a set of colleges in Amherst. We have so little in common especially politically but when we are together I can talk to him forever because he is so smart and I ask alot of questions. Brandi of course is very pregnant now,I could not wait until I got back to find out the gender and it's a boy! it's so good to be home I have not been to sleep yet and I will try to stay awake all day..brandi is getting ready for work,the schools here are out thursday and friday for fall break so we will have a long long weekend before we both go back on monday!

Thanks again everyone who kept me company and left me notes of en couragement while I was away,some days were hard like when I found out my little dog I have had for 10 years died,pookie was a dashound who was my baby girl...and I have to tell you it has hit me hard again being in the house and not having her lick my face when I got home,but I know she is in a better place now! Oops I forgot to add when we landed we learned just yesterday a pilot at our AFB crashed his jet on a routine practice drill he crashed not too far from my home luckily no one was hurt he safely ejected from the plane and only had minor injuries! I always get nervous when I hear stuff like that as I work in the control tower but in my almost 18 years I have never been stationed anywhere that a plane crashed during my assigment.

and also I forgot to add that I was SHOCKED to see our landscape once the sun came up the leaves on my trees that turn beautiful orange colors are shriviled up and falling off from the drought...it has not rained barely any since I left in June and thank goodness my grass is still green thanks to my sprinklers but I wish I would have set them up to my hit the maple and pear trees...but still I will have to drive up north ga mountains around mid october to see my pretty fall leaves!!

You are right, we are still using our AC, just a few days away from October, there have been many times we have had our heat on by now, but never AC this late until this year.

Yeah, we are too, it was 82 here yesterday! They say by Saturday we will be at 63, we'll see... I am a little behind getting my Halloween stuff set up I am doing it Saturday so that will be awesome if it is cool outside, I can warm up with hot apple cider!!! Or mulled cider, ohhh yummy!!!!

Glad you had a great time, and welcome home. That is so ridiculous about the lack of Christmas music in the store. You shop in a store that specializes in Christmas and people complain about Christmas music. I just don't get people.

baking bread, but I do not think it is going to turn out very good. My machine decicde to pop a clamp ring on one of my paddles so I had to stop it and fix it, loosing some of the ingrediants. Then I decided I should take it out of the machine and bake it in a pan instead, only did not realise it started baking already and burned my fingers. Well, now it is in the oven baking, so we will see what happens.

I baked a loaf of bread last night, my husband is working nights and we'll I thought he would like to have some when he came home this morning (of course there were three pieces missing two for me and one for my furry babies to share!!!)
