Reading about the baby really put a smile on my face. You would think that I was the grandmother!!!

Hey Guys! I got home at 2 am local time(est) and the first thing I noticed when I got off the plane was that my good friend From massechusetts who I have not seen in years showed up he is a dean of history at a set of colleges in Amherst. We have so little in common especially politically but when we are together I can talk to him forever because he is so smart and I ask alot of questions. Brandi of course is very pregnant now,I could not wait until I got back to find out the gender and it's a boy! it's so good to be home I have not been to sleep yet and I will try to stay awake all day..brandi is getting ready for work, the schools here are out thursday and friday for fall break so we will have a long long weekend before we both go back on monday!

Xmas 365-I hope you find your cat soon!:(

Thanks again everyone who kept me company and left me notes of en couragement while I was away, some days were hard like when I found out my little dog I have had for 10 years died, pookie was a dashound who was my baby girl...and I have to tell you it has hit me hard again being in the house and not having her lick my face when I got home, but I know she is in a better place now! I hope everyone will have a great day!

awe shucks, totally missed out on the pines tonight!

On the bright side, applied to a trucking company that my friend works at to try and get a job as a driver of straight truck / van. This is much more to my liking than the big semi truck that wanted me our 24/7.
The smaller trucks will have me home most nights, occasionally I will be over night somewhere. Most trips will take me to Detroit, Chicago and Ottawa areas.

Nervous about it because I so need a good paying job, but also have a lot less experience that what they are wanting.

Will keep you posted.

Have a good night everyone!

I am SO happy about Sidney's return!!!!

Good morning,

Yes, Sidney came home, at about 5:45am JP was crying about Sid missing, when he looked out the window and saw Sid was sitting on the AC meowing to come in, my boys were so happy. It was tough going to bed last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I heard a horrible cat fight in the back yard, my wife and I ran out there to see if it was our Sid or neighbor cats, we looked for 20 minutes and nothing. It was after 11pm at that point. When I let Sid in this morning, he was bloody and hungry,so I am sure it was him I heard getting beaten up, he is passed out under my bed now. But we are all relieved he is home, one of the sweetest moments was when his sister/litter mate Ophelia saw he was home she went up to him and licked him and nuzzled him, she was watching the door all night last night, and Alex (another cat) was crying all night looking for him.

Just catching up on some posts, listening to the sweetest music out there, Christmas music! I have to work tonight but I have tomorrow off, it's like bizarro world, I have an inventory tonight so I had to switch my day off. Maybe I will actually be able to mow the lawn tomorrow, it has been over a month since the last time I mowed, between rain on my days off, Hurricane Irene, previous plans, and being sick I have not been able to get out there, the good thing is it should be the last time for the year being this late.

Once again welcome home Dawg! It's like we all receive an early Christmas gift with you being back here full time. Thank you for your service Buddy.

Have a great day!
:tree:

Well my niece's allergic reaction keeps getting worse. She has come home from school the last 2 days because it has been itching so much. The School won't give her any over the counter medicines and the doctors won't give her a prescription because she just had a 500mg dose of steroids. My sister is trying to get her in the allergist before they go down for her next infusion next week. On top of all that my nephew had a boy in his classroom come down with chickenpox so my sister has call the RA doctor to let him know. With all of the different medicines she's on it limits her immune system and she needs to be treated if she comes in any kind of contact with it.

This is the arm she got the IV in and her face is all broke out too.

can I please ask You guys to pray for my daughter Kandice too? She had the most horrible screaming attack due to a terrible headache...now I dont know if it is a migraine...or if she was just overly tired...it was just heartbreaking to see her in pain......I cried after she fell asleep, too......so prayers would be highly appreciated

she is sound asleep now...and i run inside all the time to check on her

Your a good momma....my best friend's baby had these when he was around two and had them for about 8 or 9 months, then it stopped. It's gonna be ok, just stay positive!

I'm off to the pines!!!!!!!!!
Wow!!!! Carl's new apple pie blend is addicting. I might have to rent a tanker truck to bring some home with me.

On my way!!

Is the Red Sox game on TV at the Pines tonight? This a big game tonight.

Red Sox and Cowboys play on the biggest TV!

Taking advantage of the rain delay, heading home to get to bed, the Pines was a blast. Who was that with the pumpkin mask on dancing like a fool?

Have a great night!

It was the Phantom of the Opera...speaking of....where are they?

However, my husband was petting her the other day and found a huge mass on her (it's located right below her rib cage). It's pretty big, so we're not sure what to think. She has an appointment with the vet this coming week. I don't want to freak out yet, but it's just scary. She's young and I just hope it's a fatty deposit or something along that line. If you guys could say a prayer for her, I would appreciate it. As you guys who have fur friends, you all know too well, their your buddies and she was our first "baby".

Praying for Ella....I know how scary it is xo My Ridgeback, Clancy just had a baseball sized tumor removed from her tummy -It was a lipoma so hopefully Ella's will be the same......Clancy is also 5 xo

Harlowe was diagnosed with suppurative inflammation of the liver a few months ago. They never could pinpoint what caused it. She was in & out of the vet hospital for IV treatments & monitoring. She was on antibiotics, steroids, and liver support meds up until last week. Symptoms are showing up again, unfortunately...

It has been a pretty tough day, and coming here & finding all of the kindness & well wishes is really quite comforting. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!(Harlowes, too)

schools here will not give kids over the counter drugs either, they are not legally allowed to do this as they do not have any kind of medical degree. What I used to do was give my kids a small bottle of the med and then just put one (or two needed) in the bottle for them to take along. Sent a note along so they could show the teacher if questioned.
Hope you find a solution quickly!
Meanwhile get her one of these t-shirts so she can let you know exactly where to scratch!

Good Morninig, Friends

ok Crown.. forum gu ru-- is it time to sot out the special posts assignments as we could down the last few days? By tradition- dating back to christmas.com.. can I have day 4?.....
Indeed you can, oh coffee-soaked Mystery Twin O' Mine.
(Is it really getting this late in the rolling year??)

Speaking of getting late:
Days to the Season: 45
Days to Christmas Day: 87
One week from tomorrow, guys -- the 90 percent home stretch Milestone to the Season arrives, ready or not!

A nice, crisp, cool morning here in Raleigh where we are at 67 wonderfully walkable degrees.
It's still been getting a bit humid in the afternoons but all that is supposed to change by Saturday when we will only top out in the 60's.

Indeed, a good time was had by all at the 'Pines yesterday.
It wasn't easy getting down those 9 fired twinkies but watching Bing down 19 cups of coffee inspired me!

You have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And keep in mind -- Weekend Eve tomorrow!!
